In under two years look at what Life Vest Inside has accomplished!
WorldWide Dance for Kindness in honor of World Kindness Day (took place in over 30 locations, spanning across 15 countries, with over 3,500 participants)
Kindness Mission Day: The ULTIMATE kindness experience. LVI sets out with volunteers to spread the message of kindness in the heart of NYC
TED: Founder, Orly Wahba, took the stage at TED2013 sharing the message of kindness with the Global community
Education: LVI developed a Kindness Curriculum that was piloted with over 200 educational stakeholders and the results were astounding!
Acts of Kindness cards: Life Vest Inside has distributed over 30,000 acts of kindness cards, prompting people to perform the act and pass the card along
But now the time has come to take the DREAM to the next level - to bring Life Vest Inside to Phase 2.

The children are our future! Over the past year LVI has developed an Educational Kindness Curriculum that aligns with the Common Core State Standards and Blooms Taxonomy for Language Arts bringing kindness, compassion and empathy into the classroom. Made up of one unit of study, it has been developed, as of now, for grades K-5.
Over the next year we will develop further units for Literacy and extend the units to grades 6-12. Our goal: to expand to all areas of study. After all, why not incorporate values and character development into subjects like English, Math, History, and Science? Teaching our youth and ourselves that it truly is Cool to be Kind!

This is one of the coolest thing we are working on! We are developing a social network for kindness that invites users to inspire and be inspired by acts of kindness being committed across the globe, showing that one act of kindness creates a ripple effect of goodness in its wake. One of the cool aspects of the app is that it’s going to work with our Acts of Kindness cards and will allow people to track their cards as they pass from one person to the next!

In the summer of 2010, Life Vest Inside Founder Orly Wahba IMAGINED a world in which KINDNESS reigned. She set out on a mission to make a short film and bring the message of kindness to life. Q. What is the purpose of the Crowdfunder?
The purpose of the the Crowdfunder campaign is to raise money! It is also a chance for believers in our cause to show their support and help take Life Vest Inside to next level. Our mission is to EMPOWER the world with KINDNESS and we need all the resources we can get to make it happen.

Q. I notice there are incentives listed to in each crowdfunding campaign. What is an incentive?
By definition an incentive is “something that motivates an individual to perform an action”. While most people make donations from the goodness of their hearts, it is customary in a crowdfunding campaign to offer rewards for various donations.
Q. How does the referral program work?
“Refer people, get prizes!”
We want to encourage our fans to inspire others to contribute to a kinder world! When you refer people to contribute, you receive prizes.
Refer 10 people = Life Vest Inside T-Shirt
Refer 20 people= tee + cards
Refer 25 + = T-Shirt + Cards + Wristband
How we keep track of referrals:
Step 1: Go to the campaign page
Step 2: Login (you can login easily with your Facebook account)
Step 3: Below the video is your customized link that will allow us to track who you have referred. Copy and paste the link and share it wherever you want (Facebook, twitter, email, etc)
The more people you refer, the greater chance you have of receiving an additional perk!
Q. When do I get my perk for contributing?
Great question! Once you make a contribution, you will receive an email from us to get some specifications from you depending on the perk that you are receiving. For example, if you will be receiving a t-shirt, we will email you to provide us with your size and the style of shirt you like. Merchandise perks are all distributed after the campaign is complete. Certain perks (for example: sponsored posts) will be completed during the actual campaign!
Q. When do I chose my t-shirt size and style?
Once you make a contribution, we will email you to find out the details of your t-shirt preference.
Q. Can I increase my pledge once it’s made?
YES! And we hope you do. You may realize that you want a different incentive reward, or more importantly that what Life Vest Inside is doing can most certainly make a difference in the world in a HUGE way! To increase your pledge just go to our Indiegogo page and sign in. On your donation you can change the perk or the donation amount.
Q. Can we exceed the listed goal of 250K?
Most certainly YES! We are hoping for this to happen because as you see Life Vest Inside has BIG goals, HUGE and we know that we will rock this world with kindness!

A Kindness Ambassador is someone who helps us promote our Indiegogo campaign to their networks. Each day we send you an email with a short task. Tasks include posting something on Twitter, Facebook, emailing a few friends, etc. Each task will take no longer than 1-2 minutes to complete but will assist us in reaching our goal!
