Hi! My name is Adrian Dionisio, and I am a senior in the film and television conservatory at the Orange County School of the Arts, and I currently am making a short film called Lighting Fire.

Lighting Fire is the story of a group of 3 friends who, knowing nothing outside of their hometown, decide to go camping for their very first time. Their friend group consists of 2 boys (Jack and Chase) and a girl (Molly). They have been friends since kindergarten, and now they’re Juniors in High School. As the boys got older, they both started developing feelings for Molly. One day, Molly expresses interest in the outdoors and adventurous guys, so both of the boys take that opportunity and decide to plan a spontaneous camping trip.

With a constant battle of trying to one-up each other to impress Molly, a series of unfortunate events unfolds when arriving at the campsite, causing tensions to rise between the boys. The goal of our story is to show how friendships evolve through the use of comedy and drama.

Before I graduate high school, I will be following through with my most ambitious project yet, coming out to be about 10-12 minutes in length. The set of this project will take place in the California desert. I am asking for funding in order to help pay for travel expenses, equipment fees, and food and water for the cast and crew. Since the film site is about 3 hours from our campus (and will require 4 full days of shooting), we will be staying out there for the entirety of President’s Day weekend. The film will be shown at Chapman University at the end of May for our Spring Cineplex Film Festival. I am so excited to bring this film to the big screen and am beyond grateful for any contribution you are willing to make!

Of course, if you decide to help me out, I think you should definitely get something in return. You know, make your investment worth your while. Accordingly, we have given a lot of thought to what sort of "perks" to offer financiers. Here's what we've come up with:

Sponsorship Levels

"Roll the Credits" ($10) -  Inclusion in the film’s “Thank you” credits.

"Join the Crew" ($25) - Receive inclusion in the film’s “Thank you” credits and receive a weekly production packet.

"Lights, Camera, Action!" ($50) - Receive inclusion in the film’s “Thank you” credits, a weekly production packet, a signed Lighting Fire movie poster, and an invitation to the film’s screening.

"VIP" ($75) - Receive inclusion in the film’s “Thank you” credits, a weekly production packet, a signed Lighting Fire movie poster, an invitation to the film’s screening, AND a film merchandise pack!

Again, I am hoping to raise $3,000 to make Lighting Fire the very best it can be. I appreciate anything you can do to get me to the finish line! While we do love VIPs, we still have infinite appreciation for entry-level donors too. And please feel free to repost this Indiegogo opportunity on your personal social media. Getting the word out is important at every stage of a film's life.

Thank you for your consideration,

Adrian Dionisio
