Like You Mean It is an intimate film about one gay couple's journey as they attempt to revive their relationship. When Mark and Jonah's best friends break up and Mark's father passes away, cracks begin to show between the two. While Jonah's feelings for Mark continue to grow stronger,  Mark isn't sure how he feels anymore. Nevertheless, they are determined to get back on track and save their relationship.

Why we're doing this.

Can love heal us? Or do we have to heal ourselves before we’re ready to love? How much work is too much work and when is it time to let go? Like You Mean It depicts Mark and Jonah’s journey as they bravely face those questions.

I’ve always been compelled to find out what sustains a relationship, how certain couples manage to keep their love alive while others grow distant. But I have also seen that sometimes people use relationships to hide from themselves, from their own lives. But relationships curiously end up doing the exact opposite, exposing the things we are trying to hide from ourselves and the world. That’s when breakdowns occur. And that’s where we meet Mark and Jonah.

How you can help.

Thanks to some dear friends of mine and my beloved credit cards, we were able to shoot Like You Mean It in Los Angeles last month. It was an amazing 15-day shoot with a phenomenal cast and crew. 

We are now trying to raise $50,000 in order to finish the film. Besides editing the film this will ensure the film will look and sound as good as possible and also reach the largest audience as possible.

Who I am.

I am a Los Angeles based actor and filmmaker. I have starred in movies such as Kiss The Bride, The Price of Happiness, The Battle of Shaker Heights and various TV shows such as Will & Grace,  Castle and most recently Mistresses.

Movies are my passion. I'm obsessed with them. I love watching them, and now writing and making my own. This is my second film. My first film was Diving Normal, which I co-wrote and produced with my good friend Scotty Crowe. Filmed in NYC a couple of summers ago, Diving Normal premiered at the Dallas International Film Festival, screened at the Manhattan Film Festival and won the Audience Choice Award for Best Feature Film at the Beverly Hills Film Festival.
