A note from writer-director, Romeo Fabian:
"About a year ago my sister Stephanie asked me to read a short story she wrote about a girl who is struggling with her jealousy towards her younger sister. The moment I read the story, I completely fell in love with the characters and the message: that family is something that should be treasured. It was then that I knew this was a story that needed to be told and I decided to tackle it as my next project. With your help, we'll create a special film audiences both young and old are sure to enjoy; a film I hope you will be proud be a part of. Thank you."

The Plot
It’s the evening of Yari's 7th birthday and according to her older sister Lily, she’s been getting ALL the attention ALL day. Up to this point, however, Lily has more or less been able to keep her jealousy under control.

When Yari keeps Lily from playing with her birthday present, a brand new dollhouse, a huge fight ensues. The altercation ends in a broken dollhouse, tears, and the grounding of Lily.
That night, Lily wakes up to make a wish: that she didn't have a sister.
Before she realizes the severity of her wish, it’s too late, and it’s now up to Lily to try and save her sister she loses her forever!

Romeo is an up and coming filmmaker from Los Angeles with a background in acting and theater. With over a dozen film and television acting credits under his belt, Romeo decided to finally follow his dream of jumping behind the camera with his first short film: MURK. After a successful festival run and (ahem) plenty of praise, Romeo couldn't be more excited to begin working on his next project!
Evelyn Lorena - Producer

Evelyn is an actress, writer and producer with a BFA from NYU Tisch School of the Arts. Evelyn’s films 'for her' and Sprout , which she wrote and starred in, have gone on to premiere at such festivals as HBO Outfest Los Angeles and the Cleveland International Film Festival as well as receiving domestic and international distribution. She has appeared on the Lifetime Network, in regional and Spanish market commercials, and in a variety of successful independent films and web-series. Evelyn is co-founder of Nouvelle Entertainment, an independent production company and her web-series Crash-Dance is currently being developed for television.

Jose Donado - Executive Producer

Jose Donado is a USC trained actor, director, and producer, as well as a proud alumnus of London’s prestigious British American Drama Academy. Since graduation, Jose has continued to study and pursue acting in addition to writing and producing the YouTube sketch comedy series “Intelligent Design” with his best friend, Chris Dionne. A self-professed nerd, Jose is a lover of storytelling in all its forms, be it book, movie, video game, cereal box or Snapple bottle lid :)
