On the evening of Thursday November 1, 2012, at the age of six, Lily Ann Foster lost her fight against Diffuse Intrinsic Pontine Glioma (DIPG).
After being diagnosed in December 2011, Lily received treatment at Cincinnati Children's Hospital (Cincinnati, OH). In an effort to provide their child the best possible treatment and cherish every possible moment with their little angel, Billy and Rosemary Foster, Lily's parents, spent countless hours on the highway between Nicholasville, KY and Cincinnati, OH and many nights away from home to be by their daughter's side.
The Lily Strong decal perk was originally designed and intended to be sold to assist the Fosters with offsetting the costs of travel and medical care, unfortunately its now being used as a way to raise money for Lily's funeral expenses.
No parent should ever have to bury their child, but when Heaven needs an tiny angel with a big heart we are left with the duty of celebrating the life of a child that has left us too soon.
Help us, help the Foster family remember their Lily.
Thank you.
