Our head of design; Simon has over ten years of experience designing super sports cars for Spyker Cars and works together with Creative Designer Bob in the Design department.

Lardy has many years of experience working together with high-quality production facilities in multiple markets all over the world and works together with Michel in the sourcing department.

We have used the past year to find the ultimate shape and functionality for the Lucis™ 3.0 models, after many prototype rounds and tweaks made we believe to have finally made the perfect portable lamp. We also took a trip to China to find the best production partners and source our materials, we met a lot of great contacts there that helped us further improve the current models.

Our production factory produces high-quality products, they specialize in creating electronic devices and also produce components for Dr dre's Beats Headphones.

We are proud to announce that the Lucis™ 3.0 models are Arrow certified, which means that the Arrow certified Engineers verified that the Lucis™ 3.0 models are feasible for production.

Risks and challenges - Lucis 3.0 production & engineering is fully finished so there are no challenges & risks anymore we are shipping our products worldwide !

Risks

We have taken the following steps to mitigate our risks:

1. Testing: We have been creating, reshaping and perfecting Lucis ever since the idea was born. We have developed lots of prototypes which have all been excessively tested on a number of factors including; excessive exposure to water, charging time, burning time, lumen output, wireless charging functionality, powerbank functionality and practical usability. Our experience with past projects has taught us what to look for and we were able to further improve the lamps because of this.

2. Reliable sourcing and quality control (QC): Besides our experience with sourcing in China, we have our very own sourcing and QC partner in China. Our partner was born in China and raised in New Zealand and understands both worlds. He has worked in the lighting industry for years. All our products will be inspected according to AQL 2.5/4.0 standards. Our own trip to China last year further improved our production and sourcing process which results in a much better product.

3. Certification: All Lucis™ 3.0 Models are tested and internationally certified
The models comply with: FCC/RohS/CE 

4. Transport: In order to make sure you receive the Lucis™ 3.0 products in mint condition we use protective packaging and exclusively work with the best logistic partners. We have delivered our products throughout the world and know what it takes to do so.

Challenges

So having reduced the risks to a bare minimum, the only challenge remaining is to realize our dreams and ambitions and to make Lucis 2.1 Bamboo an indispensable item in every living room worldwide!
