The story...
Magical Madness Dance Theater has been creating diverse pieces of choreographed dance since 2012. The spark of madness came to Anastasia Weiss when she realized her passion for choreography and dance was not being fulfill, and she decided to bring a dance company to life. With the support, talent, and passion of her fellow UNLV dance alums Magical Madness was born here in Las Vegas. Over the past three years Magical Madness has brought the magic of dance through live performances, showcases, galas, benefit events, and most recently short dance films. This all being created with very little funding and donated time by many artists.
We want to continue sharing the gift of dance, film, and photography but are finding it difficult to expand and create more pieces of work without proper funding. With your support we will be able to keep Magical Madness Dance Theater creating through the production of more dance films, traveling to share our work, and collaborating with other artists of different mediums.
What's Down the Rabbit Hole...
It may seem extreme, going from zero to $16,000 but, we're all a little mad here, and this kind of crowdfunding only happens once.
This is not your typical dance season:
Dance film productions; Cast and crew, editors, film equipment, costumes, hair and makeup, sets, props, and space rentals
2016 Calendar: Photographers, hair and makeup artists, costumes, and marketing
Dance showcases: travel, lodging, food
Film Festival Entries: Fees and travel
Collaborations with artists of other mediums: photographers, make up and hair artists, composers, directors
End of the year dance concert: theater rental, costumes, lighting, crew, and marketing

Magical Madness dancers come from different technical backgrounds, diverse body types, and many other life responsibilities. Through these differences we create time to come together and bring beautiful works of art to life.Your support will continue to help us show and send the message that no matter where you come from, what body type you are, or what challenges you are facing, you too can create the world you want to live in.
