IN SUB-SAHARAN AFRICA, MALARIA ALONE KILLS MORE THAN ONE CHILD EVERY MINUTE OF EVERY SIGLE DAY
Imagine a drug that makes your blood lethal to mosquitoes, swapping the cards with our ancient enemy. Imagine the irony of poisoning the biggest killer… with every bite.

OUR RESEARCH
Initial laboratory tests have been very promising. We have been able to achieve our target concentration for the first few weeks. Now we need your help to continue our proof-of-concept study.
We aim at completing a whole year of studies, which will cover an extensive toxicological investigation to pave the way for future human use of our current prototype.
OUR CAMPAIGN GOAL
We aim at raising $20.000 that would help us finish our first year of proof-of-concept tests. These include the answer to the question of exactly how long we can maintain mosquito-killing levels, extensive studies on the safety profile of the drug and complementary field trials on different malaria mosquitoes.

*NOTE
Like all research projects, MISSION intends to answer a question, in our case the question is: could a subcutaneous long-lasting ivermectin formulation help prevent malaria transmission?
There is, however, much work to be done before we can give a complete answer to this question, and we know the possibility that our efforts will not give the expected results, but quoting Michael Jordan: “I can accept failure, […] but I can't accept not trying.”
