Leaving behind the old "Ideola" sound, Heard has found what seems to be a much more comfortable niche (and perhaps a hearkening back to the old days) with some striking blues, bluegrass and folk rock music. And the lyrics...well, as expected, are second to none. Most Heard devotees would agree. Even if he didn't sound good (no chance), the lyric sheet would be worth the price of the album. What formats are being offered in this campaign? ~ We are offering Deluxe CDs, limited edition 180g Vinyl (this will be a 2 LP set in a gatefold jacket with insert), and deluxe downloads in this campaign. ***Please note, if you are pledging for vinyl, we ship via USPS Mail using the Bags Unlimited heavy duty "Mighty Mailer" and an additional poly/bubble overwrap. 99% of shipments arrive without issue. That said, unless your record arrives broken or in some other way unplayable, we (Lo-Fidelity, Fingerprint, Indigogo and the Mark Heard estate) cannot exchange or accept returns for vinyl damaged during shipping.***

Will there be bonus material on the deluxe Double CD & download? ~ Yes! We are planning on including previously unreleased tracks and mixes, taken directly from Mark's tapes. Buddy and Julie Miller have also graciously offered to write expanded liner notes for the reissue. What kind/size of T-Shirts are being used in the campaign? ~ Our manufacturer will use BLACK pre-shrunk, 100% cotton, heavyweight Fruit Of The Loom or Gildan shirts in sizes Small through 5XL. The T-Shirt design has been made courtesy of Chris Taylor.

Do you know what the vinyl pressings will look like? ~ We have artist renderings that give an idea of what the vinyl will probably look like, but they aren't exact...and pressings that feature multiple colors will always be different from record to record. All vinyl will be pressed in heavyweight 180g. (This will be a 2 LP set, in a gatefold jacket.)

"Dry Bones Dance" Archive Tapes - 

We are pleased to offer as part of this campaign, the chance to own a bit of music history. We are offering a total of 17 original Ampex 1/4" analog tapes from the Mark Heard Archives. Each tape contains 1 to 3 songs, and each box contains handwritten notes by Mark with brief explanations of each mix and how they differ. (Any note with a line through it means the song was ultimately not included on the tape by Mark.) These are all original, one of a kind, and have been unedited by Lo-Fidelity or Fingerprint Records. All of the tapes were baked and transferred at Steve Albini's Electrical Audio studio in Chicago IL. (Each reel will also contain a download card featuring the music from the tape.) After pledging the MASTER TAPE + EVERYTHING level, you will choose ONE tape from the selections in the "Add On" section prior to final payment."  Please note - buying a reel does not denote ownership of the music found within. You are simply buying a one of a kind artifact, and are not authorized to share - sell - or distribute it's contents. Mark Heard Desert Painting - The pledge levels containing "EVERYTHING" will also receive a 12"x12" high quality print of Mark's desert landscape painting, suitable for framing. All other vinyl levels can add a print of the painting to their order in the "Add On" section of their order during check-out. 

If we meet the goal, how long will it be before you get your pledge perks? ~ July 2021 is the projected shipping date we have listed on this campaign. This could change based on manufacturing times, unforeseen delays, etc. It will hopefully ship much sooner. July 2021 is simply a projected release month - not carved in stone. If waiting is something you're not wild about, crowdfunding might not be for you... (Just sayin')
