This campaign is inspired from my brand new short- term goal to race in Megavalanche 2017. I am more than sure that with your support I will be able to do it!

More about me

I am downhill mountain biker for five years up till now and I am national champion in masters’ category for 2015. In 2016, because of a collarbone injury at the beginning of the season, I fought back the way the trauma allowed me to and  managed to stay in top 5 for the season. Currently I am a student in National Sports Academy Vasil Levski, trainer profile.

My nature is to accept brand new challenges! That’s why, one foggy day I tried the relatively new discipline, called enduro mountain bike. I had the chance to participate in enduro workshop leaded by the world champion Jerome Clementz in Borovetz Mountain Bike Park. …and #DownHellYeah, I’d love it! ….so the new idea was born… I decided to go without doubts to the rough downhill-enduro marathon called Megawalanche for the next competing season in 2017.

Where you will send me to race?

Megavalanche is a mountainbike downhill marathon style event since 1995. The most famous round is run from the French Alps town of Alpe D'Huez, starting on the glaciated summit of the Pic Blanc (3,330m) and descending to the lush meadows of the valley bottom at Allemont (720m), after some 2000 meters down and 30 km along, no matter the weather conditions, with mass start of 350 riders…. that’s event beyond my imagination! But hei, there is no but’s for the Butcher!

My country doesn’t provide funding for hardcore training preparation of my main sport downhill mountain biking, not even for such brand new discipline as enduro! And that situation urged me to work for this funding campaign. I will use the money for training racing camps, equipment, travel and accommodation expenses.

I have to admit I’ve never been so motivated to start something such new and challenging! I hope that with all your support along with my friends, family and campaign team help I can achieve it!
