MIDI BLASTER is a unique MIDI controller that adds a layer of expressive musical creativity and RGB goodness to any setup!

MIDI BLASTER uses infrared sensors to track the movement of your hand along 4 points and shows real-time feedback via the onboard RGB LEDs. Data from the sensors is then sent out as CC or MPE messages for a DAW or Synthesizer.

MIDI BLASTER allows the performer to control 4 effects simultaneously yet individually to create incredible soundscapes and effects!

While we may admit that MIDI BLASTER isn't the first infrared based musical device (ahem... looking at you D-Beam), we are the first to implement it in this form.

this.is.NOISE inc is a music tech start-up with a focus on unconventional MIDI devices.

We launched our first product "Noise Machine (NMSVE)" on Kickstarter back in November, 2020. We successfully funded, manufactured, and delivered these to backers the following year after extensive development.

MIDI BLASTER is currently in late-prototype stage, with development of the hardware and software planned to be completed in early 2023. Once completed, we will finalize fulfillment details and begin shipping in May, 2023.
