It controls automatically or manually the power supply of your 3D printer.
When the printing is completed, Mioswitch allows you to switch off your 3D printer, even if you are not at home.
How does Mioswitch work?
Mioswitch can work in three different ways:
- it can turn off your 3D printer automatically when the energy absorption level of your 3D printer goes below a certain threshold (that you have set);
- or it can turn off your 3D printer automatically when a timer (that you’ve set) expires;
- or combining 1. and 2.
You will set all the functionalities through an APP.
Mioswitch is compatible with any 3D printer!
It can be easily inserted into your 3D printer!
Power Meter Features
- AC85-265V, you can use it anywhere in the world;
- Instantaneous voltage, current and power;
- IRMS and VRMS, apparent, reactive, and active (real) power;
- Active fundamental and harmonic power;
- Reactive fundamental, power factor and line frequency;
- Energy-to-pulse conversion.
Connectivity
Both Wi-Fi and USB (opto-isolated) connections are available. Wi-Fi allows you to connect Mioswitch to the Internet and to control remotely the power supply of your 3D printer.
With the Wi-Fi and USB connections you can set up the switch-off mode according to the energy absorption level/time or both.
You can use it with any type of
smartphone, tablet or computer!
How To Connect to the 3D Printer
It is possible to connect Mioswitch to your 3D printer in multiple ways:
- You can insert it inside or outside your 3D printer;
- You can connect a SSR or a relay;
- You can use it to only monitor the absorbed energy.

SSR stands for Solid-State Relay, an electronic switching device without any mechanical parts.
Does Mioswitch include a case?
Mioswitch is sold without a case. You will receive a kit. Mioswitch has been thought in the perspective to be integrated in your 3D printer; therefore you are free to print your own case.
What are the dimensions of Mioswitch?
