JoyJoy! Watches is working closely with Mo'ne Davis to create an amazing GIVEBACK project. The idea is to create a CUSTOM MO'NE DAVIS - 3 band interchangeable watch band set. The sets will sell for $70 and JoyJoy! Watches will donate $45 of that sale price to rebuilding Mo'ne's Home Field @ 17th and Fitzwater in Philadelphia. Promoting Baseball to inner city youth by improving and turfing the field, so the kids can play baseball every day.
- JoyJoy! Watches is a fun art inspired brand that uses colors, patterns, fashion and art to enhance your everyday style. Our waterproof watches are tough, functional and fashionable for everyone. Mo'ne was organically attracted to our product through a mutual friend. We @ JoyJoy! decided this would be a great way to solidify her amazing achievements and future legacy in the city we love.
- This campaign is a way to celebrate the game of baseball by giving back and immortalizing Mo'ne's legacy in Philadelphia. Allowing the players behind her to have an amazing facility to practice and play. Allowing her Coach, Steve Bandura, to continue his work at the Rec Center and bringing amazing baseball instruction to the youth in the city of Philadelphia.
- With your help JoyJoy! can achieve our goal to help Mo'ne raise $90,000 to rebuild her beloved home field. Quite an accomplishment for a 14 year old girl!
What We Need & What You Get
- The Funds will go directly to the hard costs of fixing the dugouts, back stop, and having turf installed for both the infield and outfield of this facility. It allows the kids to play year round. The turf accommodates multiple sports such as soccer and baseball. Over 100 kids can use this facility for games, practice and pick up EVERYDAY!
- For your generous donation you can receive 1 of 2014 total production custom Mo'ne Davis watches. A limited release for our special project
- Regardless of reaching our $90,000 goal, JoyJoy! will donate $45 from each sale or contribution to our fund. All of it going directly to the Rec Center. We will also be selling this product directly on our web site for a limited time. INDIE GO GO is a great way for us to include as many people as possible in the project.
The Impact
The impact of this project is a catalyst and a spark. Created to DIRECTLY improve inner city baseball in Philadelphia and forward this energy around the country and the world. Once our nations favorite past time, the youth of large cities have abandoned the game. Mo'ne has reinvigorated young athletes to become reengaged with baseball. Mo'ne is determined to create a better place for the players behind her to play baseball and reach for the Little League World Series themselves.
