What is this? 

With the Transform The Smartphone Challenge, adding batteries, headphone jacks, and Qi wireless charging are the most common features across them. 

While it is great that they do have them, it's annoying that these standard features are using the MotoMod expandability. That is where the Mod Compatible Battery comes in. 

Everyone is so focused (myself included) on the capabilities of the Moto Mod platform, that they ignored the standard features of the device; the USB C port. This port provides the ability to add all of those features, without sacrificing the MotoMod platform!

So what have we done? We have designed what is essentially a standard battery pack case that most other phones have. Providing room for a 2100mAh battery, Qi Wireless Charging, USB- C Passthrough, and bringing back the forgotten headphone jack. Utilizing components, this keeps production costs down, development time down, and most importantly - your investment down.

Another eye opener from the Transform The Smartphone Contest is the lack of commitment. Forums, posts, websites everywhere ask and say the MotoMod platform is lacking unique and inventive ideas. 

This is a mod that would be easily adapted to future phones, Motorola or otherwise. While loss from investment from within is not as big of a deal, it is important to see the interest is there for this type of option.
