You have my interest, what's your story?

We got the idea for the MovieMask in January 2016, and founded the company in May. In September 2016, we launched a crowdfunding campaign for our first product, "MovieMask 1.0", which got funded by nearly 300% and shipped to over 30 countries across all continents. We delivered the products two months later.

Shortly after, we got into the premium reseller of Apple products in Norway, Eplehuset, as well as the biggest telecom provider, Telenor. The last year we've been featured in over 100 Norwegian stores, and we have captured 2,7 % of the Norwegian VR market.

Ok, sounds promising. So what's new?

We believe MovieMask delivers an immersive cinema experience, but we knew that we would have several areas of improvement after our first try (even with 30+ prototypes made pre-launch). The first versions sold over 3000 units, which gave us some fantastic feedback on improvement suggestions! It would have been impossible to make the new MovieMask without them, and their key suggestions were:

• Improved the optics
• Made it adjustable
• Made it compatible with glasses

Who are we?

Our team consists of entertainment engineers from Trondheim, Norway - and we are all determined to make fun and engaging products that are easy to use. After watching Quentin Tarantino's Hateful Eight in the cinema in San Fransisco a bit over a year ago, we were just so amazed by the cinema feeling. We then started thinking about how todays media consumption is more and more mobile driven. However, what we have gained in mobility, we have lost in experience.

Over the course of the next 6 months, we made around 30 prototypes that we tested on over 1000 users, before heading over to China to find production partners for our first product. The crowdfunding campaign combined with the domestic focus, enabled us to get tonnes of positive feedback before we've got deep down into production development to improve our product.

Now, we're feeling confident that we'll deliver a good cinema experience to you! The molds are all done, and we have allready produced 10.000+ units of the MovieMask :)

This campaign has been our door-opener to the world, and our goal is that one day we can grow into a Norwegian brand focusing on entertainment technology that is fun and easy to use.
