Overview
We would like to officially welcome you to our film project funding page. (Yes, we purposefully made our promotional video as cheesy as possible. ) We're a couple of filmmakers out of the Philadelphia area who have always tried to be creative when it came to budgets but after crunching numbers we came to the conclusion that we need a little help. The magic of the movies doesn't come free, but with your help our vision can become a reality. So lets make a movie together!

Who Are We?

Fair question. We are three filmmakers out of the Philadelphia area. We all met each other on the set of a short film at Montgomery County Community College and all shared a desire to tell the best possible stories while reaching to perfect our craft. Our creative team consists of:

  • Brynn Bailey (Director) - founder of Legacy Lens Productions and an avid explorer of all things creative. A Renaissance woman wearing many hats including director, production designer, editor, and producer.
  • Chris Howe (Writer) - artist, storyteller, and screenwriter of things you haven't read yet. He writes and he knows things.
  • Jonn Dunbar (Cinematographer) - A newbie in the Big City of New York, he is a filmmaker working towards a career as a Steadicam Operator.

And that just about covers it. We are three like minded filmmakers who share a passion for film and for telling great stories. But to do that we'll need other collaborators; you.

OUR Project

That's right. You're not a backer but a collaborator. By contributing to our campaign you'll help us rent the proper equipment, hire a talented  FX make-up artist, record crystal clear audio and help with post-production.

The truth is, shooting a film can be expensive even on a small scale. Some short films cost upwards of a few million. We're not looking for millions of dollars. We've come to the conclusion that our film, the film that we want to make and share with you, will cost $5,000. Not hundreds of thousands or millions but $5,000. Your donations will make a budding idea a vivid, professionally filmed and produced project.

Here's our logline: "During a grief counseling meeting, David, a recent widower, reflects on his choices and the loss of his wife. Will his haunting past prevent him from moving on?"

Without giving too much away, imagine a movie cocktail with the films Six Feet Under and a splash of Beetlejuice.  Curious now eh?

As stated above you're not backers you're our collaborators so for your contributions we will have some pretty unique gifts to offer you.

They range from:

  • A special thanks through social media (We appreciate your support)
  • Digital copies of the film.
  • A special prize pack complete with BTS photos and limited film props.
  • All the way to an Executive Producer credit and a special screening of the film (complete with a red carpet)
  • BUT WAIT, THERE'S MORE, for a full list head over to our perks --------->

Can't afford to contribute to our campaign? No problem.

    How Else Can You Help?

Glad you asked. We understand not everyone can make a financial contribution but that doesn't mean you still can't be an integral part of this film.

Spread the word. By simply spreading the word you'll help us reach a wider audience to complete our endeavor.

Share. Share. Share. Never learned how to share when you were a child? Greats news, you don't have to. All you have to do is click.

    The Bottom Line

And coincidentally the bottom of this campaign. We are filmmakers. We are storytellers. We are passionate about a project that we want to share with you. With your contributions, you're not just financial backers but collaborators. So let's make a film together.
