We are currently in the final stages of prototyping and finalizing our tooling. We are working closely with our manufacturing partners to ensure the best of quality in terms of materials, finish and performance.

There are many magnetic cables available in the market but MuConnect 2.0 is unique in the fact that it is “smart”.

It is the world’s first fast-charging magnetic cable for mobile devices. It has the capability to detect the type of device it is connected to (Samsung/ iPhone/ iPad etc) and adjusts the charging current accordingly to give maximum current possible to the device.

This feature allows for 2X faster charging from laptops/kiosks/USB hubs when the device is switched to “Fast Charging Mode” with the simple slide of a button. This mode also allows for Data Protection from unauthorized access or malware installations when connected to public kiosks/USB Hubs.

MuConnect 2.0 cables have a very high magnetic strength and are cross-compatible across micro USB, Lightning and Type-C devices.

We have filed 2 Patents - one Utility Patent (Pat Appl No: 15/485,859) and one Design Patent (Pat Appl No: 29/560,181) with the USPTO to protect our idea and technology.

How we will use your funds :

MuConnect 1.0 was a magnetic fast charging 'connector' launched through Indiegogo in Feb, 2016. We had an amazing response with over 5700 backers from 102 countries and sold over 17000 products worldwide. The support and warmth we received from the community in making this project a success was overwhelming. Unlike multiple crowdfunding campaigns which had failed to ship the products, we had delivered on our campaign promise and delivered the product to everyone.

We want to bring MuConnect 2.0 to you so that it can make your life a bit more comfortable. But as a new startup, we need your help to spread the word about our product to everyone and to enable us to achieve our dream of placing our product in as many hands as possible.

We are currently working with our partners, consolidating production and assembly plans and coordinating international logistics. However, we would still like to inform you of certain risks and challenges.

International Logistics Risk - The speed of the shipping may vary based on country and delivery location.

From our previous campaign experience, we have observed that, since MuConnect 2.0 is a magnetic cable it will take a couple of days for the users to adapt to this new way of charging.

We charge a  nominal amount of 6$ for shipping the product. The mode of shipping is through postal service, which takes about 3-4 weeks to be delivered.

Once the campaign ends a survey will be sent to all the backers to fill in their shipping information as required by our fulfillment partner. You will also be able to choose the choice of your cable and pins for your perk.
