Music802 focuses on wireless-audio-application. Such as: Streaming the highest-quality audio by wireless from your smart device to any sound system, wireless audio recorder, low cost audio toys, digital audio broadcasting.
Music802 is based on the Qualcomm AR9331, with64MB RAM and 16MB flash, 400M MIPS CPU, USB 2.0 ,Ethernet and WiFi too.
Music802 is an open source, low-cost, low-consumption, and powerful Linux embedded development platform.It runs OpenWRTon top of Linux. So you can use Muscic802 in monitoring, communicating, and even surveillance device.
Music802 is also able to work as a full functional router.

LC930 size is 40mm x 28mm with 49 pins out. It contains 64MB DDR2, 16MB SPI Flash and uses AR9331(400MHz MIPS) as its heart. It provides many interfaces such as 10/100M Ethernet, USB, UART, I2C, I2S, SPDIF, and over 20 GPIOs.

Why did we decide to develop the
Music802?
At first, we just wanted to devolop a prototype board for streaming the android/ios smart device’s high quality music to speakers through WiFi. In order to choose the best platform for this case, we had tested some CPUs, such as RT5350
(but has high power consumption), Allwinner H3(powerful but has high
cost and complicated software), and finally we chose AR9331 for its
features: low power consumption, WiFi, I2S interface, SPDIF out, 400M MIPS CPU,
and can decode audio streaming smoothly.
In the process of developing AR9331, we found many interesting applications. Such as Remote Control DSLR, Stream video from webcam, DIY soft define radio using RTL2832,audio Capture, 3G/4G WiFi Router, DIY internet radio
and so on. So we decided to design a full-featured, extensible
prototype board based on AR9331+OpenWRT to save you time during developing a
new WiFi product.
