With the FitSeal™ sleeves in place, the sleeve only needs to grab on to 2-3 corners of the ear and the silicon will hold the earbud in place without falling out, even in extreme conditions.

Our proprietary magnesium/titanium sputtered diaphragm is light and stiff - extending the high frequency beyond 20kHz, yet the proprietary alloy provides excellent self-damping to provide crystal clear clarity.
A diaphragm with soft material can provide clean and dynamic bass response in lower frequency but it acts poor in higher frequency. It needs the rigid material to make the diaphragm to provide crystal clear clarity in higher frequency. So our proprietary comply diaphragm used in Rio 3 is a special alloy of Magnesium/Titanium combo sputtered diaphragm, it shows the rigid characteristics and maintain the diaphragm overall softness to provide the best of both characteristics.
The 14.2mm driver used in Rio 3 provides “Extra Bass” compared to the regular 8mm and/or 10mm drivers.

ERATOSURROUND™ Explanation:
ERATOSURROUND™ can help recreate audio recordings in its most natural state. For example, when a pianist is performing, we hear sounds differently as the music enters our ears at different times. Even if it takes a few microseconds for the sound to reach either ear, one ear should hear the tune slightly louder than the other as your ears are positioned closer and further away from the piano.
Recordings can be done in a variety of ways. Some record in stereo with two microphones and others use a binaural recording, where additional microphones are placed to process sound as if was heard live, preserving the audio to create the most realistic experience. While possible with large speakers by splitting it into 5, 7, or even 10 channel surround sound setups, it's difficult in earphones this size. Others have designed headphones with spatial 3D audio by integrating multiple drivers in the headphones but can cost up to hundreds of dollars.

From the beginning it was our intention to create a true wireless audio experience. In bringing this idea to reality we were compelled to address a variety of needs, create multiple designs, and implement a strategy to cultivate a true wireless audio portfolio.
During this process we wanted to create a spectrum of earphones to meet the needs of a variety of customers. By offering an affordable product, an everyday lifestyle product, and a premium luxury product, we will be able to share our technology will millions of people around the world. Michael has held senior positions at Viewsonic, WYSE, and Adata Technology Co. and have been developing audio solutions for mobile devices since 2012 with Foxconn Technology Group
Randall Lan (Co-Founder) - Co-founded Monolithic Microwave Integrated Circuit (MMIC) in 2003, specializing in Pseudomorphic High Electron Mobility Transistor technology and Multi-Chip Module applications in wireless RF circuit design - crucial to wireless audio technology used today.
Casey Ng (CTO) - Co-founded NuForce, an award winning audiophile grade audio system manufacture, which have sold tens of thousands of performance grade amplifiers, speakers, and earphones.
Bob Smith (Engineering) – Senior audio engineer behind lots of award winning products he designed during his tenure at Nuforce with Casey Ng.
Tom Tsai (Design) – Graduated USC and has designed multiple award winning products since. Tom is the ID Design Leader for Erato Audio and continues to lead a talented team in creating our products.

FAQs
Does it work for iOS or Android products?
The Muse 5 and Rio 3 works with both Apple and Android as well as other devices that have Bluetooth 4.0 connection or higher.
Can I make phone calls with the Muse 5 or Rio 3?
Yes. Muse and Rio both have an MEMS omni directional microphone built in and can make hands free calling with both earphones. Only one side will be active for safety regulations in some countries.
Does it have any buttons?
Yes. The Rio has 3 buttons, while the Muse 5 has a single button. Buttons can control volume, tracks, play/stop music, and even activate voice command software such as Siri or Google Now.
Can I swim with these earphones?
Although water and sweat resistant, it's not recommended for underwater sports. Bluetooth wireless does not travel underwater - therefore swimming is not recommended.
Do you ship globally?
We do ship globally - except Brazil and Russia. We have had problems shipping to Russia and Brazil for True Wireless Products.
Do I have to pay tax?
Yes. We cover global shipping to your location with a signature required shipment, however, due to different VAT and import tax laws you may have to pay import taxes in your country. However due Indiegogo being a pledge, in order to help save your import taxes, the price under shipping invoice will be less when we would ship earbuds to you. You will be responsible for any VAT taxes that shall arise. We ship with FedEx, UPS, and DHL.
All package or combo packages will have to pay duty taxes as needed.
Is there a warranty?
We cover a limited 1-year warranty for manufacture defects.
You mentioned 9 combinations of FitSeal, how come there're only 6 pairs shown?
There are 3 FitSeal sleeves (S M L) and 3 ear tips (S M L) each size ear tip can pair with each size of FitSeal sleeves. 3 x 3 = 9 combinations.
What is the range of the earphones?
The earphones are built with advanced Bluetooth technology. The Rio 3 is built with a 4.2 BT and the Muse 5 a 4.1 BT. The range for the Bluetooth is 33 feet depending on your surroundings.
Can I use only one of the earphones at a time?
Yes, the Rio 3 and Muse 5 each have a master side and can be used on their own.
What is the battery life?
The Rio 3 has up to 8 hours of talk time and 6 hours of play time. The Muse 5 has up to 7 hours of talk time and 4 hours of play time.
What material are the FitSeal sleeves made of?
Both the sleeves and ear tips are made out of silicone.
What is the MSRP for the Rio 3 and Muse 5?
The MSRP for the Rio 3 is $129.99 and Muse 5 $179.99
How do I charge my earphones?
The Muse 5’s can be charged by simply dropping them into its charging case. You will be able to charge them up to 3x while on the go. Make sure your charging case has a battery. Recharge the case by plugging the case into a 5V micro USB charging port. The case can accept up to 2.1A of current.
The Rio 3 has a micro USB split charging-cable making it easy to plug and charge into any USB port.
Will my earphones pair with my Smart Watch?
Yes, our earphones will pair with all smart watches which support Bluetooth 4.1 and above.
When can I pick the colors for my earphones?
At the end of the campaign you will be sent an email with a link that will allow you to select your colors.
