Stacey is aged just 24, she attended A&E in July; with a sudden head ache after a quick CT scan it showed a small benign cyst, within the foramen of Monroe , Also low laying cellaber tonsils to add to the conclusion. This type of cyst can be FATAL if left untreated causing  increased pressure in the brain, any obstruction to the csf fluid can and had in very rare cases caused sudden death, research admits.

After out patient MRI investigations on 28/11/2015 Stacey was admitted to ward 64 and had  brain surgery to fit an ICP MONITOR to record the pressure in the ventricular region for 48hours thankfully an emergency cyst removal open brain surgery operation was not required and the cyst will be removed in a  2nd planned admission in weeks to come after Neurophysiological assessments for memory tests have been carried out for a before picture of the situation

This campaign has been started to try and easy the financial pressures of being in hospital and going through major brain surgery, possibly helping the recovery process.

Stacey was self employed, their was no "sick pay" entitlement from her employer
