I am a Navy veteran . Diagnosed with multiple symptoms like
COPD
CFS
CPS
CHF
I became disabled in 1999 after a heart attack then several strokes.
In 2007 I finally received SSID And accepted permanent retirement so I purchased about 9 acres in NE Arkansas on the cheap put in a well and sewer system and a small mobile home (14x70) 2 bed 2 bath. I had to prove I am owner with health dept to get permitted for water and sewer . So the bill of sell was used.
The property was in Progress when the seller died with paper work in an office we shared. her only daughter would not allow me access so my only proof of ownership was destroyed and probate refused the health departments documents as 1st person so I lost everything and barely got some of my belongings.
I am not good with the explanation but it devastated me and my wife.
We bought another small home in SW Missouri and started over. But the damage from a roof leak was larger than we anticipated. And after the AC went out and automobile breakdown we became overwhelmed. Observing kindness from others I searched on-line for help. The veteran volunteers could only help with one winter fuel cost and found nothing else that helped in our situation.
Seeking extra work went unsuccessful .(My health keeps me from keeping up in todays workforce too) Hire a Vet was for younger Veterans. I hold GM at the rusty bucket but closed because of the lack of insurance demands for commercial insurance in which I was not making money at. Local Churches was great helping lower our Food cost and could help in man power IF I had building Materials. So here I am in one of those cracks of life that my situation does not fit most programs.
Not sure what to write that will help you to know my needs. The donations would cover $5,000 for the new heat pump. $10,000 to extend for a garage that I could store my automobile and lawn equipment and tools. the remainder will cover the main roof repair with the wall and floor damages replacement. And to upgrade weatherizing of the home.
Your contribution will free my stress up and also allow me to do other small repairs I would otherwise have to pay some one else for. I am 55 years old fighting to get ahead with what I have. Not being in greatest health I feel shame to ask as I have been so independent before my health declined and pray for that little lift from others. I do not know the magic words people use to get noticed and help , I just know I have to say something before things get worse and our home becomes unhealthy and fit to live in.
So I plead for you to share with friends that might be in position to help my family and challenge everyone to give$.50 to $1.00. Pennies from thousands will make a difference and pray for the blessings from others with a kindness of their hearts.
And remember this Mental health affects Physical health. And I already have bad health and do not wish to have a decline of mental health because of a heavier depression.
I do not know how to explain this any better . Just please help.
Thank you Charles Foster

Other Ways You Can Help
Some people just can't contribute, but that doesn't mean they can't help:
- Ask folks to get the word out and make some noise about your campaign.
- Remind them to use the Indiegogo share tools!
And that's all there is to it.
