Why this Story is Important to Us.
It seems as if every day you hear of another unarmed person of color be gunned down by the police, but very rarely do you heard of what becomes of the victim's family. With Never Alone, we want to focus on what happens after the news trucks leave, the human element. These victims were more than just a story on the 6 o'clock news. They had families, and people who loved them. As a diverse group of filmmakers, we believe we understand the magnitude of the issues and themes we want to include in our film. We hope to accurately portray what it is like to lose a parent and the harsh realities that people of color face as victims of racial profiling and unjust policing.

The Impact
Due to the stigma around policing, and racial profiling, in the United States, stories involving any injustices done by law enforcement officials are often never told. We want to change the narrative. By donating to this project, you are helping to reinvent the types of stories that are being told.
No contribution is too small, and any and all help is appreciated. As backers, you are not only investing into this project, but you are also investing in the careers of the young artist that are working on this film. The cast and crew on this project are all voluntary, everyone is working on this project out of love and passion for the artform. All of the proceeds that are donated will go towards the film itself. Help us reach our goal to tell this story the best way we possibly can.
