Our Story
You might have seen our old video for "Dawn of Ages" ( http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=yK61le0_oEo ). Now we're not saying that video wasn't totally killer or anything, but we look back on it and say to ourselves, "Maybe that could have been a little more...professional." With that in mind, we are embarking on the filming of our second music video off the "Demons of The AstroWaste" album for the song "General of The Dark Army." We've teamed up with super rad indie film champion Richard Olak with the idea of making a professional, serious, album-concept integrated video. Its gonna be awesome.
The Impact
Because we're into this shit so deep, we'll make the video happen no matter what. That being said, it will probably end up being a lot less cool and a lot less pro if we have to fund the whole thing by oursleves. Any little bit you can throw on top is just going to make the video that much sweeter.
What We Need & What You Get
We plan to spend your money by taking everything to the next level so to speak. At present, our film maker Richard, is responsible for the following: Editing, directing, colour correcting, doing sound design, production managing... basically he's doing everything. Its not the case that he can't do all these things well, its just that he can't do them as well as someone who is say, a full-time professional sound designer. With your help, we can hire pros to get all these specialty tasks done, and done well.
But it doesn't stop there. Your help means more actors/extras on set, better camera equipment, better costumes...the list goes on.
What we're willing to give you in exchange for hooking us up:
We were originally thinking merch and promo material but then we realized that you can just go buy that shit anytime if you really wanted it. With that in mind, we've hooked up what we think are some pretty personalized and unique perks that are only going to be available for the duration of this fundraiser.
Other Ways You Can Help
