Nexion is a Sci-Fi superhero series that follows a young man named Richard Jones as his life is turned upside down when his right arm is taken over by an alien A.I. known as Ion. This happens during a critical time in his life, forcing Richard to dive into Ion’s past while paving the way for his own uncertain future. Together, they battle corporations and criminals alike, hoping to stave off an ancient enemy bent on crafting a race of bio-organic weapons. Inspired by anime and superhero comics that seek to blend the two together for a story of action, love, and loss. Trust me: it's a wild ride.

My name is Ashton Batiste and I am the writer and creator of Nexion. Nexion has been in development for about 7 years and I'm proud to say I'm happy with the work my team and I have created. I've always wanted to create something that people can be inspired by. Working on this comic taught me many things but the most important thing that I've learned is to never give up and keep pushing. Being a comic creator has been one of the happiest moments of my life, to be able to tell my story for the world to see has been incredible.
I was inspired by so many things that I grew up with and continue to watch to this day. Those inspirations are what drove me to say "Hey, I could do this too." I am so thankful that I can work with such talented artists, colorists, and editors. They have helped shape this book into what it is today. I'm also thankful for my family and my friends who have supported me on this long journey and I also want to thank God himself.

Mayank Kumar is a freelance Comic Book artist/Illustrator and Pop Culture lover from India. He has been working professionally since 2014, and provided various media outlets with his services. His first spot of recognition came through talented dancer Dytto sharing his work, after which many other platforms such as Prime Video, Netflix, etc promoted his work on their handles. He won the comic con India Fan Art contest in 2016 where he was invited as a guest. His Artwork for Tomb Raider Movie 2018 was inducted into Crystal Dynamics California HQ. Wacom Europe did an 'Artist Deep Dive' interview with Mayank in July 2019.

Laras Putri started working as a comic book artist in 2014. She worked with an indie publisher from Boston (2014-2015) as a line artist for 2 books. From 2016 until 2018 she worked with indie publishers from Australia, worked as a line artist, color artist, cover artist, and letterer. We did 2 books together and a bunch of artwork. After 2018 she worked for a company in the UK making custom comics and drawing. I just can't stop drawing comics! Sequence drawing is my expertise, along with coloring and lettering.
