WHY IS NITRO SO IMPORTANT? DRINK INNOVATION

Over 100 years ago, legacy brands such as Coca-Cola & Schweppes adopted the use of carbonation to create sparkling Cola & Lemonade. The soft drinks market is now valued at around $500 Billion globally, but there has been very little innovation in the past 100 years. Carbonation requires C02 to be bottled at source and shipped around the world, either in cans and bottles, or SodaStream style gas cartridges. HOW DID WE DO IT?

You know the expression, “Rome wasn't built in a day”. This project hasn't come to fruition overnight - To get to a product that is simple, reliable and just works exactly as you would expect it, has taking thousands of hours of design and development work.

The smallest of details need to be precisely calibrated to guarantee perfect results, not only for the drink but from a user ergonomic view. For the machine to work well with the existing NitroPress dispenser the engineered geometry, materials in the dock coupling, and internal components need to be just right.

Every tiny change affects and changes the outcome, so we needed to test every possible combination of variables. Still, we persevered, putting in thousands of hours designing, modelling, testing, tweaking, prototyping, and experimenting. We did it for over three years until everything was flawless. Now all you need to do is press a button.

The NitroPress DS is 3 years in the making, evolving through several different concepts, designs and prototypes, thousands of validation tests, iterations, tooling trials, and changes have been made to get to where we are today.

We ship the product to most countries in the world.

The NitroPress DS is electrically certified for the US, EU & Europe, and Australia and works in any country using a Type B, C, G, or I socket. Other countries with unique socket types (like Israel & South Africa) should select either the EU or UK type and use an adapter.

CLEANING AND MAINTENANCE

The NitroPress DS is an electrical appliance. Therefore care must be taken when cleaning. The docking station itself can simple be wiped down with a damp cloth, as you would do with any coffee machine, or food mixer for example.

The NitroPress (not including the Copper Edition) dispenser is stainless steel construction and all individual components are dishwasher safe.

The Copper Edition NitroPress dispenser is hand wash only using warm water and dish soap.

We have spent countless hours designing, developing, prototyping, refining, re-working, engineering, tooling, tweaking, modifying, improving, and performing countless tests. The NitroPress DS is now ready for prime time, and the upcoming schedule is below.

We are happy to offer flexible shipping options and will continue searching for the best prices and options for our backers. We may offer standard or express options to some destinations.

You can decide where and how to ship your reward when it is ready. Delivery payment will be collected when you provide your address and choose the shipping method.

The rates below are estimates based on today's courier rates and may vary by the time the rewards are ready to ship. We are still actively looking for the best options for every territory.

Countries with "NO" written in the column means we don't collect tax upfront, but your country may impose import duties and fees upon receipt. These fees vary from country to country and are the responsibility of the backer/importer to pay

We will ship NitroPress DS worldwide, with the exception of Argentina, Belarus, Cuba, Iran, Iraq, Lebanon, Libya, Myanmar/Burma, North Korea, Russia, Somalia, Sudan, Syria, and Yemen. Please note that you may be responsible for duties, fees and taxes applicable to your region.

CANCELLATION POLICY

We can't express enough gratitude for your support of our project. And we promise we will do our best to make it awesome. We know that sometimes people change their minds, so let's be transparent about how this works.

Per Kickstarter's rules, you won't be charged until the campaign ends, so you won't be charged if you withdraw your pledge before the end. This means that if you are going to change your mind, then do so before the campaign ends.

Once the campaign ends and Kickstarter charges you, your pledge is final and can no longer be canceled. The funds we collect go towards ramping up production.

Undoubtedly the occasional backer will insist on a cancellation post-campaign. Please understand that the funds received from your pledge have already been eroded by commissions and fees paid to Kickstarter, credit card fees, agency fees, marketing teams, ads, partners, etc. We will have less than 50% of the pledge you made by the time everyone involved has been paid (not including manufacturing costs). While pledges are final post-campaign, should we make an exception and refund a pledge, please understand that we can only refund 50% of the value pledged.
