Welcome to NOLALAND!
This
is our campaign to support the creation of NOLALAND - an amazing world full of magic and
music. With the raised funds we will
launch the main platform of our transmedia project- the NOLALAND website.
The website has several sections:
- web-comics;
-
a
blog written by the main character - NOLA;
- an educational section with video tutorials;
- reviews of YA books, movies, comics & games;
- a forum and a creative corner for nolalandians, as well as lots of fun, games and creativity competitions.

Behind all this content there is a very friendly, talented and reliable team, who share the passion for magic. Now, let us tell
you a story.
Our protagonist - the fictional character Nola lives in the small town of Vanadzor. One day our producer-scriptwriter Hasmik and Nola met. Maybe in a dream, maybe in a daydream, or reality…
Nobody knows for sure. They befriended and Hasmik decided to write down Nola’s stories… Then one by one other characters came and introduced
themselves and their stories created a new magical universe, which got the name
of NolaLand – a place where the craziest dreams are born and brought to life.
Meet our Characters
Through our characters, who will somehow appear and disappear in the different parts of transmedia, we will stay connected to youth and address different massages to them. Our heroes are young and rebellious, principled and selfless, courageous and inquisitive.They are all big fans of rock
music. The curiosity takes them
into sci-fi computer world where they have to fight
against the corporation to save the area from major environmental catastrophe.
And despite the dissensions that would appear among them during the story, the
friends stay united and… the time will show.

- A SONG FOR NOLA feature film (director Emil Mkrttchian).
- a
PC/mobile game (this is our top secret, please do not tell anyone)
- rock music and much more...
What We Need & What You Get
We have been working really hard. We can't wait to share some of these results with you. Here are the main things that we have done so far:
- The first chapter of our web comics - it has full color pages, original story and beautiful artwork.
- The script of the feature film “A Song for Nola”, which is intended
to be released on 2016,
- The 5-minute pilot of the film (director Emil Mkrttchian).
- Nola has
kindly provided us with some of her blog posts and cool illustrations
And so
far our most important achievement is the community eager to see NolaLand online. We love and appreciate their involvement. They cheer with us for every achievement and are waiting for us to launch the project!
