Short Summary
Hello, everyone!
Note to Self is a student film set to be shot in Manhattan, New York!
The film is about an insecure character living in one of the most populated cities in the world who thinks it's impossible for him to connect with anyone. That is until his encounter with an outgoing young lady who shows him the world in ways he has never seen it before.
What We Need & What You Get
We plan to shoot the film on the ARRI Alexa. One of the Film Industry's top cameras. This is where most of the funding is going towards. We are asking for a total of $2000 for this project. That money will help is with:
-$1600 for the ARRI Alexa (Lenses and insurance included)
$100 for gas (Traveling 300 miles from Oswego, NY to Manhattan, NY)
$100 for craft services for the cast and crew
$100 for securing locations
The Impact
Shooting this film is a once in a lifetime opportunity. This is the last semester our cast and crew will be at school together and we really want to make something great for our last project.
Upon completion of the film it will be sent out to film festivals all across the globe, including Sundance, Tribecca, and Cannes. None of this will happen without your help. Your small donation can make all of this possible!
Risks & Challenges
Being college students, money is our biggest issue in filmmaking. It is a very, very expensive process. It is hard for student filmmakers to be able to create their envisioned work on the budget we live on. Any donation will help us greatly to achieve our goal.
