"Nothing There Sings" is female-focused psychological film that follows a self-righteous woman as she comes to empathize with her younger sister suffering from abuse and mental illness.
In addition to our female focused story, our project is especially modern due to our diverse cast and crew. The producers are devoted to working with other top level actors and crew from all ethnicities, identities, genders, orientations, classes, religions, ideologies, sizes and abilities.
Here is what your donations are going towards:
1) Paying cast and crew

6) Post production needs and film festival submissions
Nothing There Sings covers themes such as domestic abuse, female empowerment, and morally ambiguous characters. Moreover, this short is adapted from Susan Glaspell's first wave feminist story "A Jury of Her Peers." Mrs. Glaspell and her numerous pieces, were not only decades ahead of their time, but continue to inspire young readers today.
