Hey SURGE fans! Here's the scoop!

We've been graced with a unique opportunity to help out a church in need.
In doing so, we have the opportunity to receive SURGEMOVEMENT.ORG!

We've been inquiring to obtain this domain to use for our potential new website & official SURGE Movement email. Right now the domain is owned by the Christian Worship Center in Downers Grove, Illinois. After speaking with the current registrant Pastor Peter Kucher over the phone, the original plan was for the domain to be used for their youth group, but it turns out they will not be needing it.

Peter left us an email today, which reads:

We would be willing to transfer this domain to you, as we will
probably not be needing it in the near future. We are not looking to make
money, but I would want to recover the costs we've spent on it so far
and I would hope you would help me with something.

One of our church outreaches is called Mercy Outreach. It is ministry
to the poorest of the poor, handicapped, orphans and widows. You can
check our website on it mercyoutreach.org

We have been trying to purchase also mercyoutreach.com so the sponsors
and donors would avoid confusion. However someone bought it and is
trying to resell it for $688. So we are basically trying to raise
money to buy that name.
 
Please let me know what your group can donate towards that.

Like Peter said, they aren't looking to make money on the domain. They simply just need a helping hand, and in return they are offering SURGEMOVEMENT.ORG!

What can we raise in two weeks? Anything you can offer will be very appreciated by this church, its community, and the SURGE Movement!
