We are a small group of indie game developers from Kazakhstan. For almost a year and a half we have been working on our Onima Project. Its a game we always wanted to play, a game we've dreamed of. We decided to start making Onima in 2015, a lot of space sims have inspired us to do so. Since then we were and still are driven with pasion for this game! We hope you will like Onima as much as we love it.
Onima - is a 2D MMORPG that takes action in the Silver Coin galaxy. After the invasion of The Vorti, human and other civilizations had to run from the Milky Way galaxy. Now 8 civilizations have to colonize new planets, build new stations and prepare for the turn of The Vorti!
But don't be mistaking, Vorti did not unite other civilizations, most of them are still at war even though they are now in a new galaxy. Space is a cruel place, that is full of dangers so be crefull!

Onima will offer pilots an unforgettable experience! Hundreds of missions with cut-scenes and randomly generated events, across the galaxy! Here are some of the features you will definitely see in the game:

Pilot Customization - you will be able to customize your pilot. Chose from hundreds of different outfits, hats and weapons. Be unique!

Ship Customization - customize the looks and the specs of your ship! Wether you want to be a fast flying bounty hunter or a tough-hulled transporter, its up to you what kind of specs you want. Install powerful weapons, armor, shields and engines, but don't forget that all of that good stuff needs energy, so a couple of reactors wont hurt.
Design you unique ship skins, for yourself or your clan! We are planning to support Steam Workshop.

Base building - so you found a sweet spot for a casino base you always dreamed of? That's great! Get in you industrial ship and star making the new Vegas right away. Or maybe your clan is at war and needs an outpost? Then don't forget tom attach a couple of turrets to your new station!!!

Private Servers - you can create you own galaxy and play in it, just with your friends!

Player Driven Economy - Onima has a complicated player driven economy system, that makes the gameplay even more interesting. Buy their stocks and ravage entire corporations, buy out stations and cities, but don't get too greedy or other players might unite against you!

Free To Play - all these features and much more will be available for free. A true Free To Play game(NOT PAY TO WIN)!
After the release of Onima it will become a Free-To-Play game! Unfortunately Alpha and Beta will require you to buy the game.

trying to pay out of our pocket. And we came to a place where we can no more

to communicate with our followers and fans to create a healthy game community,
which will help Onima stay connected with its fans even more! People will be able to download the Demo from this website.

Launching a proper marketing campaign.
In order to attract more pilots we will have to launch a marketing campaign. A small one, but it still will be great!

Finish working on the games scenario.
Onima will offer players a great story, full of adventures and great
events. That’s why being able to pay to our Story Editor's is one of the most
important goals.

How Much Do We Need?
10.000 is a big amount of money, but sadly its not enough to complete a project like Onima. After this campaign ends we will switch to the InDemand mode. With completing each of these goals we will add new important features and aspects to the game.

$10.000 - When we will reach this goal, the demo version of Onima will be released and it will be available for free!

$25.000 - The Alpha will be released. Onima launches on Steam!

$50.000 - The Beta version release. Steam Workshop Support!
After all of the goals are reached and Onima is finished we will always provide you with weekly updates that add tons of new content! Onima will never get boring!

Every startup has risks and challenges and Onima is not an exception. Here are our risks:

Crowdfund Fail - if we fail at Indiegogo it will mean we will have to move our schedule a year later, as we did it last time. But it doesn't mean that we will stop working on it.
I'l remind you that in 2015 we tried Indiegogo and failed. Onima gathered only $127 out of $10.000.

Poor Player Activity - Onima is at a stage of development that means that most of the time we will be working on adding new features, content and fixing our mistakes. These processes take a long time and it cant mean that updates will take longer to come out. That leads to a problem where players might get bored and abounded the game.
We will try to release at least 3 updates every month to avoid this problem.

Money Loss Risk - The biggest and the hardest risk. You have to decide. Backing this project up means that you are ready to risk your money, it means that you believe in the success of Onima!
We all risk with Onima, but our strategy helped us came this far with minimal risks and money loss. We are defiantly sure that Onima will succeed! In the worst case scenario we will ty again in 2017 and the of the contributors from 2016 will get their perks!
