About the Film 

Optimized is a virtual reality film that will bring you into the wilderness with four young women and their mentor. These girls have struggled with common issues in our society, such as anxiety, insecurity, and depression. The hope is that by the end of the weekend these young women will have new tools that will help them grow and also come closer to identifying their passion in life. 
Our Goal
To raise $20,000 dollars to cover all expenses for the film. The money will go to the camp, the food for the trip, production insurance, the mentor, the editor for pre-production, and all post-production expenses.  

The Change

As two young women we are constantly surrounded by insecurities that women struggle with daily. Through this film we want to modify a woman's perspective on themselves and other women. It is time that women love themselves, and stand up for one another. 

The Result

To create a broad and powerful moment for the enhancement of women's self esteem.

About Us

 

Kelsey Selby, the director, is a student filmmaker in Los Angeles who is passionate about making a change through storytelling. 



Alexis Pappas, the producer, wants to empower young women and help individuals realize their self worth.
