The Movie:

Over the Wall is a dramatic thriller set in the exciting world of DIRT TRACK RACING.It's the story of how true love overcomes tragedy and betrayal, testing the boundaries of the human heart, friendship and the ties that bind us all together.

Our goal is to create a cinematic film that engages the audience to think and feel using solid, well drawn characters involved in a complex, dramatic story with some killer twists and reveals that you the audience will be proud to see.

Freddy and I are making Over the Wall as an independent feature film with our producing partners Larry Meistrich and Ken H. Keller. Larry has made over 100 multi-award winning films including Slingblade with Billy Bob Thorton and You Can Count on Me with Laura Linney, Mark Ruffalo and Matthew Broderick. Keller is known for producing the hit films The Naked Brothers Band and Jeremy Fink and the Meaning of Life starring Mira Sorvino and Joe Pantoliano.

Over the Wall will shoot this summer in Ohio. All of the racing footage will be shot at the one and only Eldora Speedway.

The Project:

Over the Wall is a unique film project that blends the art of filmmaking with charitable contributions and fan participation. By donating to this Indiegogo campaign, you will not only be helping us make a great film but you will, more importantly, be making a difference in the lives of people who need our help.

Charitable contributions:

Since Over the Wall is set in the world of racing and deals with spinal cord injury, we thought it only appropriate that we partner up with a charity that helps men, women and children suffering from spinal cord injury, disease and paralysis to help better there lives.

Over the Wall is proud to announce that it has partnered up with The Cody Unser First Step Foundation is going to be donating a portion of every dollar raised on this campaign AND a portion of every dollar earned from the films worldwide release to support the amazing work this charity is doing. 

Fan Participation:

Over the Wall is including its fans in the making of the film.

We are offering many different, interactive ways for the Over the Wall fan to be involved with the actual film itself, offering everything from watching daily uploads of the behind the scenes of the movie as it unfolds, to visiting the set and having lunch with the cast and crew, to actually being in the movie, to being invited to the red carpet premiere, etc.

The Reality:

Racing fans are no strangers to accidents. Shit happens in life. That’s a reality.

Sometimes life deals you a set of circumstances that stop your life on a dime and turn it in a direction you never expected. Sometimes its good. Sometimes its bad.

Dealing with spinal cord injury and paralysis is a life altering circumstance. Without the help of family, friends and some kind of support network, this is a very difficult obstacle to overcome.

We want to use our film and its potential broad scope to reach out to some of these people and try to make a difference in their lives.

With your help we can get some of these men, women and children out of their house and back into the world. Back to school. Back to work. Back into society. Because this is where they belong.
