The Film
"Painkiller" is the story of Lenny Green, an ex-championship boxer turned sports gambling addict who finds himself in the crosshairs of a vicious gang.
Inspired and influenced by 1970s grindhouse/exploitation cinema, Painkiller is a love letter to genre faire, written and directed by award-winning independent filmmaker, Stephen Beason.
This film is one part of an even larger horror/crime anthology, "One Night in Lethargia," created by an international team of filmmakers working in unison to create a shared vision shooting in London, Ontario, Canada this August.
WE NEED YOUR HELP
Making a feature film is expensive and it's even more expensive to travel all the way from Hot Springs, Arkansas to London, Ontario, Canada - an over sixteen-hour drive not accounting for any stops along the way.

We also want to make sure our cast and crew are paid fairly for their efforts in bringing this story from page to screen. This talented crew has been working behind the scenes to ensure production meets the level of quality that everybody involved knows that it can be.
