Welcome to "Black Betty" - the first release under our new label 'Painting Buddha SHARES' and Painting Buddha's very first crowd-funding campaign!
With your support we want to turn our idea of fairness in the miniature industry into a series of outstanding Collector's Edition miniatures, designed by some of the best miniature artists in the world.

"Black Betty" and her trusted monkey side-kicks "Bam" and "Alam" are the center-pieces of a fantastically detailed, high-quality, white metal 75mm collectible miniature diorama.
Digitally designed and sculpted by Hector Moran, one of the rising stars of the miniature industry, we want to push the limits of what is possible in miniature production today and create a collector's edition set that simply spells 'WOW'.
We offer you three main perks of supporting this campaign: The Black Betty Collector Set, the Black Betty Digital Pack and the Black Betty Art Pack.
Our Vanity Sets are intended for those of you who really want to support us and let the world know about it - and of course, Everything Betty is the perk you are looking for as it includes all of the above.
While you can choose, mix and configure your pledges as much as you like, your support will help us turning an idea into reality: Painting Buddha SHARES.

There are many campaigns, but this is ours. When we realized that we could actually 'put stretch-goals INSIDE of stretch-goals!', we knew we had reached the next level: Welcome to Stretch-Ception!
Our stretch-goals are organized in Levels and Upgrades.
Every 21 backers will unlock a new level.
And on December 24th Painting Buddha gives you one level as a Christmas Present - for free!
(Example: At 21 backers we are at level 1, 42 = level 2, 63 = level 3 and so on. Add +1 level for free!)
Every time we reach a new level, the Collector Set, the Art Pack AND the Digital Pack will be upgraded! Welcome to the next level!
Stretch-Ception: Some upgrades are labeled 'L - Art Card' or 'L/2 - Stickers'. Once unlocked, these upgrades will grow stronger the higher you level this campaign!
After all, who wants levels and upgrades when you can have power levels and upgrade multipliers!
Example: The campaign reaches Level 7. You would receive not one but seven art cards, three stickers, two large posters, one button and one refrigerator magnet.
Double up!: In the event that we actually reach Level 10, we will DOUBLE UP all Art Pack upgrades! You will not receive one, not ten, but TWENTY Art cards (two sets of ten)! Double up is twice as nice!
When you support this campaign you help us unlock the levels. When you share this campaign you turn on the upgrade multipliers and power levels!

Black Betty - Collector Set
The Black Betty Collector Set is what this campaign is all about. It will be an incredibly beautiful set containing Black Betty and all the level unlocks as listed below.
The Collector's Set also includes all level unlocks listed in the Art Pack (excluding the T-Shirt). What good would a Collector's Set be without the precious goodies!

We would not be Painting Buddha if we did not offer a masterclass miniature painting instruction video for Betty! And of course, even our 1080p full HD video comes with upgrades!
Like in our popular Painting Buddha Academy, all videos will be hosted on Vimeo and can be streamed and or downloaded in different resolutions and to a myriad of devices.
Upgrades include entertaining 'behind the scenes' videos, exclusive access to secret new Painting Buddha Shares projects and even an introduction to digital sculpting by Hector himself. You like 'making of documentaries'? Level 9!

For our new line of Collector’s Edition miniatures, bundled with award-winning painting instructions, we partner up with incredibly talented artists and give them the freedom to do what they do best.
With "Painting Buddha Shares", our plan is to team up with the best artists in the miniature world and make them full, equal partners in our projects.
In short, with “Painting Buddha Shares” we want to take a step aside and put the spotlight where we feel it really belongs: on the artists.
“Painting Buddha Shares” artists receive 42% of the profits, while we will re-invest 42% in future projects. Together, we agree to donate 16% of the proceedings to charity. This is not only how we do it. It is Y we do it.
