We are really excited to announce that the legendary Lloyd Kaufman will have a featured role in this film!  He is the co-founder of Troma Entertainment, and the director of many of their feature films like 'THE TOXIC AVENGER' and 'TROMEO AND JULIET'.  He is also a Sag-Aftra actor and you can see Lloyd acting in several of his own films and doing cameos in stuff like 'GUARDIANS OF THE GALAXY' and so many more! He was also the bum in 'ROCKY' that Sylvester Stallone carries into the bar - super fun! 

He's helped spark many amazing filmmakers careers like Trey Parker, Matt Stone and James Gunn and a bunch of others..  He is a true pioneer in independent filmmaking

Anthony ( The Director ) had the pleasure of working with the amazing FX team led by Eric Fox and Doug Sakmann in Lloyd's last film 'SHAKESPEARE'S SHITSTORM' and instantly fell in love with Lloyd's personality and all things Troma and is honored to have him be a part of this project!

Vincent Guastini has worked on everything from 'THE LAST OF THE MOHICAN'S' to 'CHILDS PLAY', 'CABIN FEVER', even 'SUPER MARIO BROS'. ( I love that movie!) and so many more..

It's going to be amazing to have him be a part of this team.

Vincent is someone Anthony ( The Director ) is honored to call a friend. He has taught him more about practical FX than anyone else.  He is a true legend who Anthony has had the pleasure of working with on several different projects and had some of the best times with since his arrival in Los Angeles.

- Anthony R. Risen -

Anthony has always had a passion for all things creative - skateboarding, guitar, drawing, martial arts and definitely monsters (fx artist)... you name it.. He grew up idolizing the characters he watched in movies and TV - They were his heroes. Just the feeling of leaving this world and going into another ( for at least a couple hours ) was the most amazing thing he ever felt.  We all have problems in our lives so of course, this was his ultimate escape... 

It wasn't until years later when it dawned on him that people actually make these things. Not only that, but he could do it too... So after going down a really deep rabbit hole on all things filmmaking and learning as much as he could from his new heroes (The Directors), he then decided to independently produce a short film called 'DEVIL'S NIGHT' - It toured all over the world playing in more than 30 festivals and received several awards and nominations and currently has about 40,000 views on YouTube!  It also recently premiered on Bloody Disgusting's World Of Death series (Halloween Special). 

After the excitement died down, he packed up his stuff ( with no money, only unemployment checks ) and moved to California to try his might against the professionals in Hollywood.  Upon his arrival he used 'DEVIL'S NIGHT' as leverage to work with some of the best - He's been working on as many film projects as he can in order to learn and make filmmaking his full time job.  He's worked several different film departments and learned a lot since his last project and now has officially made the leap into full time filmmaking, but he still feels like directing is really what he should be doing.  So let's make another horror film!

Our film 'PARASITE IN THE PARK' has a different type of feel for horror fans. We want to take the effectiveness of gory practical effects combined with real situations of films like 'THE THING' and 'TEXAS CHAINSAW MASSACRE' and put them alongside playful characters like the ones in 'GREMLINS', 'THE GOONIES' and 'THE MONSTER SQUAD.' It will be a mesh of everything that true horror fans can appreciate!

If the project doesn't reach it's funding goal, do I get my money back?

We're doing a Flexible Campaign, so even if we fall short of our goal, we will put whatever we raise toward extending Parasite In The Park's world and you will get your perks.

When will the perks be delivered?

Each perk has it's rough delivery month listed and we'll do our best to get them to you right away.
