Path of Titans will feature an extensive environment you must survive in. Find water, forage for edible plants, and hunt prey in order to avoid death. But that’s just the beginning. Partake in realistic, environment driven quests in order to gain points to put towards improving your character and permanently unlocking skins or new dinosaurs.
Path of Titans will be packed with features to allow for plenty of replayability and content for hundreds of hours of play time. Some of the main features include:
- Permanent characters with in-depth skin and trait customization
- A complex questing system.
- Group and Guild systems that allow for pack hunting and herd migration, with servers supporting up to 200 concurrent players.
- Lush environment filled with AI dinosaurs and smaller prehistoric creatures
- Swimming, diving, and fishing in both lakes and rivers.
- Cross platform functionality, play the game from your PC with your friends on mobile and vice versa.
- Powerful modding tools with extensive documentation, and a backend allowing modders to deliver their content to other players.

The dinosaurs you will find in Path of Titans have been selected for variety in aesthetics, physical traits, and playstyles. From the small Camptosaurus to the giant Daspletosaurus, a wide variety of playstyles will be available. All our dinosaurs aim for scientific accuracy, with feathered species and semi-aquatic species being fully present in-game.
Our 10 dinosaurs have been selected from two time periods and geological formations: the Morrison Formation from the Jurassic Period, and the Dinosaur Park Formation from the Cretaceous Period. In the future we plan on adding dinosaurs from the Elrhaz Formation, with one dinosaur already in-game.

Community is important to any game, and the Path of Titans team recognizes the amount of passion and talent dinosaur enthusiasts have. Powerful modding tools will be a staple in Path of Titans and will always be free for anyone to download and use. With extensive documentation and help to guide modders, anyone can download the dev kit and begin creating.
Our already developed mod deployment backend will allow modders to upload their content directly to our servers to be automatically patched with each new update. Dozens of mods have already been created by members of our community. A few are listed below!

Supported Platforms
Path of Titans will be available for multiple platforms complete with cross-platform play, with a future ideal goal to bring it to consoles at a later date. Path of Titans will be distributed through our own Alderon Games launcher, from which you will be able to download mods, patches, and engage with the community. This game will not be available through Steam.

Our Launcher
Path of Titans will be downloadable and playable through our launcher. Through our launcher you will be able to easily keep up to date with news, updates, and patches. Budget Breakdown
By utilizing crowdfunding we will be able to remain independent and develop the game as we and the community see fit instead of having to partner with a publisher. Publishing agreements can often come with pressure to change the creative direction of the game or to implement more predatory revenue models such as loot boxes or pay-to-win microtransactions.
Whether or not Path of Titans meets our crowdfunding goal, the game will be released at some point in the future. We will be self-funding the project with $36 000 AUD (Approx. $25 200 USD) in order to ensure work on the game can continue. This money will go towards paying for rent, electricity, development server costs, and generally allowing us to sustain our work environment for the core development team. We are committed to bringing this game to life and won’t stop until it’s been completed. However, without the money raised through crowdfunding the release date of the game will have to be pushed further back, as our team members will have to work part-time on the project in order to make their own ends meet.
Everything raised during our crowdfunding campaign will be put directly towards further development of Path of Titans. The exact place these funds will go towards are outlined below.

Indiegogo Platform Fees - $1800 AUD (Approx. $1250 USD)
Indiegogo takes a flat 5% for all funds raised, which amounts to $1 800 AUD.

Processing Fees - $1080 AUD (Approx. $750 USD)
Payment processing and currency conversion will take about 3% of all funds raised, which will amount to approximately $1 080 AUD.

Taxes - $9940 AUD (Approx. $6980 USD)
Australian law requires 30% tax paid on all funds earned after processing fees and platform fees, which amounts to approximately $9 940 AUD.

2D Art and Texture Work - $7100 AUD (Approx. $5000 USD)
The very high amount of 2D and Texture work needed will require outsourcing to our freelance artists in order to meet our targeted release date.

Development Kits and Tools - $5700 AUD (Approx. $4000 USD)
Developing for consoles and specific devices require expensive development kits and development tools that we currently cannot afford on our own. This will go directly towards paying for these and for any platform-related fees.

Backend Development - $7100 AUD (Approx. $5000 USD)
These funds will go towards further developing our distribution methods, launcher, game patching tools, mod deployment backend, and modding tools.

Bandwidth and Download Costs - $3300 AUD (Approx. $2300 USD)
Because we are hosting our own servers and distribution platform we will have to bear all the costs of distribution. This means all game downloads, mod downloads and server fees will have to be paid for, and this is what these funds will go towards.
Stretch Goals
If we manage to meet our crowdfunding goal, all further money raised will be put towards our stretch goals. These goals represent content, features, mechanics, and game modes that we believe are strong additions to Path of Titans but are currently not within the scope of our budget. Help us get there faster by backing today! All stretch goals will be added after the release of the initial base game and will be available to all players at no additional cost.

Play the Game Early
As a reward for backing at our Pre-release Access tier, backers will have access to the game during a specified Pre-Release window. During this time you will have a preview of the full game and will be able to give us feedback to help shape the final release.
Pre-Release Access is expected to begin during December 2019, and will allow backers who have purchased a $30 or higher perk to download and play the game with other players who also have access to the pre-release. Pre-Release Access will be for PC only (Windows, Linux, and Mac)
As a Pre-Release version of the game, it will not be fully feature complete and may contains bugs or other problems that could hinder gameplay. More information about the exact Pre-Release date will become available as we get closer to the estimated date, and we will be posting news about it as development continues.

Add a Specific Dinosaur
Choose a specific dinosaur to add to the game! The type of dinosaur must fall within the group specified on the perk chosen.
This includes the 3D model with 3 sub-species variations, a full set of animations, 3 skins, unique sounds, and a unique playstyle that compliments the creatures strengths and weaknesses. Work with our artists to help guide the creature's design and the skins that will be created for it, and suggest unique abilities and attacks it may have!
You may only select land-based or semi-aquatic creatures. Flying and swimming reptiles are not allowed. The creature must not be more than 20 meters (65 feet) long, as our map has not been designed for creatures larger than that. The creature must be from the Mesozoic Era.
Add a Critter
Add any prehistoric critter to add to the game! Choose a species of small non-dinosaur animal and work with our artists to design it and create a skin for it. It will be added as an AI creature (non-playable) to the game. Includes 1 critter model, a full set of animations, 3 unique skins, and unique sounds. This will be be added to the game upon launch. The creature must be from the Mesozoic Era.
