aka Pierre Tran. I've had a fascination with creating for as long as I can remember. From when I was 5-years old lip-syncing in front of an old DV camera, to now, spending all of the years in between learning how to do magic, dance, paint, to playing instruments, putting on eye-liner to lastly, music production.
For the last few years, I have gone through many serious life changes. Through these changes , I am grateful to be alive and that I still have what I have left. What I've realized transformative character-building situations; is art/music is eternal & that I know in my heart that it is my calling to deeply pursue my passion as creating is all that I've ever known.

What We Need & What You Get
With your support, I'm able to live out my dream & passion. Making art means the world to me, and anyone who's ever met me knows how important it really is. By funding this current project, I'm able to gather more resources to produce as much quality work as I can. I hope my passion will resonate with you, and inspire you in any way possible. I write, compose, produce and play every instrument on this record.
The 5-songs are currently in demo form, and this is where the funding is going.

I'm currently in contact with a french sound engineer by the name of Nicolas Essig, who has done work with Lana Del Rey, Coldplay, Brandon Flowers, and more. I feel that we would be the perfect pairing sonic-ly and I would absolutely love to be able to be mixed by him
The Impact
This current project as pierre XO is a 5-song compilation that encapsulates all that I've been through; love, heartbreak, joy, anger, escape & adventure. The sound is along the lines of older alternative bands such as the Cure, the Killers, to more contemporary influences such as Crystal Castles, Phantogram & Tame Impala. I am a huge fan of genre-blending and hope that what you'll hear is something new & original. Emotional depth, accessibility, dance-ability and energy are all things I want to combine & showcase.
Every project that I'm involved with I put 120% of myself in, never letting it go unfinished and following through even if that means skipped meals and lost sleep. My past work has resonated with many and I hope to inspire originality, emotional depth, and freedom with this current project.
Risks & Challenges
I've never liked money in art, and I've always tried to stray far from it as possible. Everything I've done in the past has been for free; from performing at charity events to releasing music videos. However, to create the best work, I would need more time and funds in order to write/record & produce with a growing team. I want to be able to make the best quality work as I can, but it gets extremely difficult with the little finances and little time I have now. I have an innate desire to express myself and connect with people through art & music, and I would love your help and support in making this possible!
Yet no matter the circumstances, I will always find a way to create regardless. I will always live, eat, & breathe art.
