Founders' Foreword:
Beer makes us happy, but the craft food and beverage industry keeps us endlessly curious. Craft beer and liquor sales are up, patrons carry pride in eating and drinking local, and disposable incomes continue to rise. The growth in popularity of craft drinks and local fare has provided the industry with an influx of highly talented, passionately driven, and endlessly creative innovators with the hope of satisfying every consumer’s gastrological curiosity.
However, many watching the industry fear certain saturations in the market - especially for breweries. This concern instills hesitation in brewers looking to break into the industry with their own business or experiment with product too broadly. Even further, production breweries struggle to justify using tank space for experimentation or collaboration given the production impact on current offerings.
That’s where we come in.
With careers in music and the arts, Dan and Jordan came up with the idea for Pilot Project after realizing how many other creative industries have dedicated spaces for artists to do their work. Photography studios, recording studios, art lofts, test kitchens -- there's no shortage.
Pilot Project: a “guerrilla” brewery incubator and tasting room accomplishes just that for the beer industry. Designed to provide brewing resources to an industry that demands a $1M+ barrier to entry, we will support upstart businesses and day-dreaming home brewers, encourage small-batch experimentation and collaboration across the industry, and provide consumer market testing in our lovely tasting room. Plus, we all get to drink great beer.
So Why Am I Contributing?
Your contribution to Pilot Project will help support the aspects of our business needed to put our products in front of the public: our bar!
Any Other Ways to Help?
Yes! We need to get the word out. Whether or not you can make a monetary contribution, your support and the support of your friends and family is the biggest contribution. Please follow us on instagram and, where possible, share this campaign to help us reach our goal!
Thank you!
