Cinthya Franco - Writer / Director
Cinthya Franco is an Ecuadorian filmmaker based in Brooklyn, NY. Interested in stories often overlooked by mainstream media, Cinthya's films aim to capture the social realities of underrepresented groups while emphasizing the humanity of the everyday. She is currently in her second year as an MFA student at NYU's Tisch Graduate Film Program.
Vindhya Gupta - Producer
Vindhya Gupta is an Indian filmmaker, currently based out of New York. After studying literature, she wrote theater productions, radio plays and commercials. She’s now making films and learning the craft at NYU. She was recently awarded the Sarah Driver Post Production Award. Inspired by lies and pretense, she seeks to unravel the tremendous stories people tell and the acts that they perform on an everyday basis. She is currently working on her first feature,
Sarah Topf - Producer
Sarah is a bilingual Producer based in Miami, Florida with a passion for telling authentic and meaningful stories. Her most recent work includes producing for South Florida PBS' children's media and education department for the past two years. She pitched, created, and produced their first ever original PBS Kids show, "KidVision Mission," which was broadcast to 2.4 million TV households on South Florida PBS’ WPBT and WXEL channels. She graduated with a 4.0 GPA from the University of Miami where she received a B.S.C. in Motion Pictures Producer, B.A. in Spanish Literature, and a Minor in Ecosystem Science in Policy.
Maria Belén Poncio - Cinematographer
Maria Belen Poncio is a writer, director and editor from Cordoba, Argentina. She directed and co-wrote the short VR film "4 Feet: Blind Date" which was funded by the Biennale di Venezia College Cinema VR and premiered at Biennale di Venezia 2019, Sundance 2019 and SXSW 2019. It won awards in Dok Leipzig and Guanajuato Film Festival. She then directed and co-wrote the fictional crossplatform series 4 Feet High, produced by Arte France TV, which premiered in Biennale di Venezia 2021, Sundance 2021, BFI 2021, TIFF Next Wave, and won jury and audience award in SXSW 2021. She is currently studying on NYU’s Tisch School of the Arts' Graduate Film Program.
