Once upon a tail-wagging time, in the year 2021, we took our first steps towards creating a cleaner, happier world for dog owners with our initial crowdfunding campaign for the PooPail This wasn't just a product; it was a revolution designed to turn the chore of handling your furry friend's "business" into a breeze.

In less than 60 days, we rallied a pack of over 5,923 people from around the globe, all hungry for a change. But our journey was just beginning. We continued to spread the love for PooPail through our official store, reaching even more pooch lovers worldwide.

Throughout this adventure, we never stopped. We listened, took notes, and smiled at your stories. We took all this to heart and decided to level up. And that's how we came up with PooPail 2.0.

Each of our bag styles is certified by TÜV AUSTRIA, an authorized body certified by European Bioplastics. The certification stands for quality and reliability and guarantees our products are biodegradable and compostable. Many “planet friendly” claims from pet bags are actually not receiving these certifications because they are made of material that just breaks down into small pieces of plastic pollution, instead of being plant-based like the PooPail bags!

Technically you can, but the main reason we created specifically designed certified Compostable/Biodegradable bags is to reduce the plastic we use that ends up in the ocean and landfills. Like we say, "Happy Dog, Happy Owner, Happy Planet!"
 

 

PooPail has a secure lid that prevents smells from getting out, and water from getting in. Although it does do an amazing job at containing the stench, recommend keeping it outside, and not under your kitchen sink.

The idea of PooPail came to me a few years ago, when I had two dogs and a large backyard. Like any dog parent, I enjoyed spending time and playing fetch with my doggos. But aside from being cute and playful, my fur babies would always leave behind those nasty “surprises”. For me, that meant 28 piles of “jewels” to pick up each week, and 28 trips to the garbage cans, which were 10 houses away! To solve the problem, I tried a whole lot of contraptions and pooper scoopers, but none would work. So I decided to create something myself.

The result—PooPail,  the world’s first 2-in-1 system for scooping and storing dog poop!

Now I can pick up dog poop in seconds and store it for a whole week without having to take countless trips to the dumpster. And my backyard is always clean too!
