A CURE FOR AIDS ?
Our documentary film, Positive Hope, follows the tests in France of a preventive and curative vaccine against AIDS.
In 1989, in Gabon, 25 pregnant women were diagnosed with HIV. 23 were able to resist the virus, reverting to sero-negativity two years after their infection. This phenomenon of
natural sero-retroconversion had never before been observed. They were carrying a specific protein: the TAT Oyi.
For 13 years, Dr. Erwann Loret has centered his research on this protein.
After having successfully tested this vaccine on mice, rabbits and monkeys, in January 24, 2013, the French health authorities authorized Dr. Loret to perform clinical tests on humans.
On April 25, 2013, the first human out of 48 volunteers to experiment with it, received the first injection of the vaccine.
THE FILM
The purpose of our documentary film is to show this unique test and to give the world access to it. Dr. Loret testifies that:
"56 days after their contamination with SHIV virus, 100% of the monkeys had no more SHIV detectable infected cells "
We had already completed the first phase of this film before the start of the tests on humans. Our goal is to continue to film the patients and the scientific team until the end of the tests.
WHY DO WE NEED YOUR HELP ?
- The pharmaceutical industry (Big Pharma) raises many questions, information about AIDS research is confusing and unclear.
- Our goal is to open doors that have been closed so far and to make available to everyone the latest results of research against AIDS worldwide.
- We have the necessary authorizations to enter the laboratory, to film the scientific team as well as the first patients to be injected.
- To protect these tests, we need your funds, in order to be able to continue making this documentary film.
- Because our approach is independent and free, we need your support.
AN EMERGENCY
The funding for a documentary is slow but the tests are taking place NOW.
Without immediate financing, we could miss a critical step of the documentary.
This money will help us to launch our next shooting session, The first injections have started.
THIS PROJECT IS FOR THE SAKE OF MANY, YOU ARE OUR POSITIVE HOPE
