Our story started in the office.  One day a coworker with his teenage daughter came in and said her posture is a problem: When she sits she looks like us!  Naturally, we denied having a posture problem and to prove the point, we launched our own "posture contest" (winner gets fewest reminders)!  Alarms, sticky notes, pillows, pilates balls and other props were used as reminders... Fast forward – the idea for POZE was born. We tested and developed the concept into the most easy-to-use device that solves one’s core posture problem.  We wanted a solution for everyone, so we've made it work on its own.

In reality, sitting up straight isn't about you. It is about your muscles needing a systematic and repetitive training over time. Poze keeps you in correct posture, without anyone knowing. No app. No charging. No diagrams.  Well-balanced power consumption enables the battery to last for up to a year, so you can forget charging too.

Poze has only one button. When the device is on, Poze records your posture and creates a reference point. Sensor technology calculates the angle of your position, so if you slouch 15 degrees or more, Poze will send a silent buzz after 1 minute, reminding you to straighten back up.

After handfuls of ideas, prototypes, manufacturers, and minor details, we’ve polished POZE to the way it is now.  We've successfully completed the second test production run, receiving an EU Declaration of Conformity and now the first series of finished units are in stock. Plastic housing preparation is done and electronic suppliers are secured, which means we can fully comply with perk numbers (quantity) and commit to shipment dates we are offering. As in any serial production, the final product price is a matter of production volumes. We did everything we could do with our team. Now, we need your help to scale production and reduce costs of electronic components and assembling. 4 weeks in total.

Week 1- start with 20 minutes a day and increase onward. You may not notice changes, but your muscles are re-learning how to be in a natural position.

Week 2 &3- Use Poze for 6-8 hours a day. At the end of week 3 your muscles will be itching to sit straight

Week 4- This is the time to lock in your muscle memory. Your muscles are trained.  All they need is reinforcement of a good habit.

What is certified technology?

It has an EU approval of safety, meaning device is approved for stated use and it tested safe.

What is your refund policy?

Once our project is complete, we are not able to offer refunds in accordance with Indiegogo policy. When campaign ends, your pledges got to immediate use to ensure that funds are used as stated. 

What is the battery life?

Our high-quality included battery is made to last for up to a year. However, this may vary depending on number of hours and days Poze is used.

Will I be charged VAT/duties?

Unfortunately, we don't have a way to verify tax/VAT obligations on pledges so any applicable duties/VAT are the sole responsibility of the backer. If you would like to check whether or not you will be charged duties/VAT at the time of receiving your reward, please contact your local post office.

When will I receive POZE?

First batch of POZEs will be shipped as promised-December, 2016.   Check your perk to see delivery date.

Is it safe to use?
 Yes. We use best materials that have been tested and certified by EU.

What if I am allergic?
The device is made of materials that do not cause allergic reactions. The adhesive is based on special hypoallergenic adhesive tape produced by TESA (Germany) and is made using the solvent-less technology which also excludes allergic skin reactions.

What if I need more self adhesive stripes?

Poze comes with 36 high quality self adhesive strips that will serve you through the cycle we recommend. In case you need more, you can buy them now through our Extra Strips and soon on our website www.poze.io
