PremoBoard can be controlled by any system via the USB port: it is an expansion board designed for (but not limited to) cubieboard (A10 or A20).

PremoBoard is a expansion board featuring the following:

- 4 USB 2.0
- 2 LAN 10/100
- 2 WIFI (OPTIONAL)

Wifi is  RT5370 but can be easely replaced with other type of wireless module.

LAN and USB are managed by LAN9512/4.

What PremoBoard can be used for:

Joining a PremoBoard with a Cubieboard allows you to have a compact, powerful “network station”. Typical use can be:

- DMZ
- Proxy
- Firewall
- TOR Node
- Access Point
- Router
- etc.

- File Server (ftp/samba/NFS/etc)
- ownCloud Station
- P2P node (aMule, Bittorrent, etc)
- NAS
- etc.

Performance

You may worry about performance of PremoBoard, especially on LAN I/O:  don't. On the website www.premobaord.net you can see the result of our tests.

Configuration

PremoBoard is designed to fit your need: you can connect with cubieboard side-to-side, face-to-face, back-to-back. If needed, one cubieboard can manage 2 PremoBoard at same time! Refere to "FAQ" and "gallery" pages on www.premoboard.net.

Why we need your help

The PremoBoard team is a small team and if we want to make the cost of the board go down, we must make many at a time. We need to raise enough money to make at least 100 boards. In case the requests of PremoBoard massively exceed the that number (that means less cost for production), we will do our best to scale down the price and partially refund the Indiegogo's bidders (no joke, we are serious!)
