The story starts as an autobiographical piece that ends up taking you on an epic journey through China during WWII. It's a contrast of the beauty created by cultural collaboration and the ugliness created by war.
We are currently working on a production for three performances in the 2015 Kansas City Fringe Festival. The local Chinese Community have fallen in love with the story. One member is translating the script into Chinese for a future production in China.
Funds are needed for technology upgrades in software and computers for the video backdrop to the story. Stills from the video can be seen on my website. Funds will also be used for other production cost including marketing, fees, materials and technicians.
The goal is to raise seed money to help create a production company worthy of Broadway and eventually a motion picture. The Kansas City Fringe Festival is the first stepping stone for this endeavor.
