Qibla Watch automatically shows how much time is left for your next prayer. Our inspiration is derived from the subconscious behaviour of how our Muslim community sees time- instead of seeing it as 3pm, it's actually '2 hours to 'Asr'.

We've simplified the compass design on our app and watch so that anyone- and by that we mean kids as well- can enjoy the little fun of rolling the little ball into the hole and pointing themselves in their Qibla direction.

We all know how difficult it is to dhikr when our schedules are so busy and tight. Establishing your dhikr habit is now made easy by simply tapping on the Qibla Watch. The watch syncs seamlessly to the app to record each session's dhikr count and tracks your daily, weekly and monthly progress according to your desired goals. 

If you're familiar with some watches in the market now which have a Qibla compass feature, you'd know that you'll have to press multiple buttons to set up your country, then city, then town... (can you imagine doing it every single time you travel?!) 

We're way past that. Your exact location can now be detected directly from the phone and transferred immediately via Bluetooth® to the QiblaWatch, saving you lots of valuable time.

The Companion App to the Qibla Watch, MasjidHub has been specially designed to meet the demands of today's Muslims- Clear cut, no frills, straight to the heart of what matters most.

Eliminating Inaccuracies within Buildings

Did you know that the phone compass isn't always accurate, especially when it comes to using it indoors within most concrete buildings? Many times we have used two phones side by side and it shows the Qibla pointing in different directions!

Hence we introduced the Qibla Map feature alongside the Qibla Compass for double reinforcement on where your Qibla direction is because it relies on mathematical calculation methods, not a compass. You can easily confirm your direction by knowing the building/landmark's position and angling the phone in the same position as you see it on the map.

Record an Athan

Love the sound of your dad/husband/brother's recitation of the Athan and want to save it to memory? You now can do it with our special athan recording feature that enables you to record, save and use their athan recitation as a sound alert notification on your phone for every prayer.

Dhikr Goal Setting

With a fuss-free interface, our app encourages the act of dhikr to be built up, even if you are just starting out! Set your daily Dhikr goals and track your daily, weekly, monthly and yearly progress through the progress bars on the app.

Bookmark Quran

Inspired by the act of Quran tagging, Masjidhub's Quran section is equipped with the Bookmark feature, where you are able to save your favorite verses and access them easily from the main screen in the Quran tab.

Location Data Stays Private

Masjidhub only tracks and uses your location data for the sole, key purpose of displaying the prayer times and Qibla direction. This is the only data it needs to function. But this data is private and locally stored on the phone, and we (the creators of Masjidhub) cannot have any access to it.

No User Profiles

You don't need a user profile for checking prayer times. Not only does it make the setup process time-consuming and tedious,  sensitive data like emails, phone numbers and user interests are usually requested during the process, which makes one question why an app used for prayer is requesting such information.

We don't plan on requesting our users to set up user profiles for the basic function of accessing prayer times and Qibla direction. Nope.

No other data collected or shared

With everything else, we believe that any private data shared with us is an act of amanah (trust). With acts of trust, we don't go behind your backs to do something that you don't approve of. This includes full transparency on your privacy. 

We don't believe in ads on a prayer app, full stop. No one can control the type of ad that is shown anyway, and many a time inappropriate ads are shown which have no place on a prayer app. It's just wrong.

We've brought 6 products to market successfully, and this time we've also chosen a reliable manufacturing partner that builds smartwatches for some of the most renowned brands in the business.

We've also maximized the amount of internal development within our team's abilities, so even if there is a possibility that this project will experience delays, we can still safely ensure the successful delivery of the project because the heavy work is being executed from our end.
