Thank you so much for checking out our campaign. Ravensbrood Productions, founded in September 2018, is made up of three extremely dedicated and resourceful young entrepreneurs. We are excited to introduce ourselves and tell our story!
Since September, we have written, directed, produced, shot, edited and published one short film, working with two Phiadelphia-based actors, and covered the Philly Music Fest, recently releasing the full recap of the event.

Here at Ravensbrood Productions, we produce high-quality, engaging short films and music videos, leading the way from pre-production to post-production and release. By creating well-thought-out films and videos dripping with our style and showcasing our talents, we are able to bring our stories and yours to life.

My calling has always been making movies and telling stories. We all leave our mark and impact people in our own way, and I have chosen film. It's a fascinating medium with endless possibilities, able to transport viewers to a different world, and make them experience emotions in ways other media can't. As the owner of the company and in-house production head, my duties include overseeing and delegating non-production tasks, putting our projects together, scheduling, and generally making sure my team and I are on-task and on-time. Production-wise, I participate in every aspect from scripting to editing, which is where my passions lie.
As an ambitious young adult with huge dreams, I decided to start my own production company after graduating from Emerson College in May 2017. My largest achievements to date are my BFA thesis film, which I wrote, directed, and edited, and a 45-minute music documentary shot in the Netherlands, which I directed, shot, co-produced, and edited on a micro budget. My love for music often comes into play, and I have directed, shot, and edited two music videos and one live performance thus far.
After graduating, I immediately began working as a full-time video production intern with a tech company in Blue Bell, PA. When than internship ended, I worked another part-time production internship with, you guessed it, another reputable tech company in Conshohocken, PA. At the end of April, that internship came to a close. Currently, I am a remote freelance video editor for a local marketing agency, logging between 25 and 30 hours per week with them. Fortunately, I am able to put the rest of my time into my own business, projects, and undertakings.
Calling this campaign "important" is an understatement. By reaching - and even exceeding - our $20,000 goal, donors help ensure our upcoming projects (a few short films with micro budgets, concert/event coverage, music videos, and a feature film with a small budget) will be successful. We will be generating revenue through generous contributions to our Indiegogo and Patreon (coming soon), as well as through clients who want to see their visions come to life on screen.
Vision for the future: I want Ravensbrood to take off, and become a reputable, approachable, and multi-faceted production company. We will be dedicated to not only following our passions as creatives, but also to upholding high standards for our films, our team/employees, and our clients. A lofty goal, perhaps, but I see us as a significant contributor to the movie scene in the Greater Philadelphia Area, with plans to expand our reach in the future.

I am the Marketing Director and Coordinator for Ravensbrood Productions, and also a recent graduate from Emerson College. Having majored in marketing communication, with a double minor in photography and psychology, my experience allows me to take charge of getting our brand afloat, and control all PR and social media aspects of the company.
I believe the marketing industry is always evolving when it comes to video and photography, and there is always space for more creativity. By staying on top of current and upcoming trends in our industry, I will ensure we will consistently deliver top-notch marketing and advertising that is relevant to our followers.
During our productions, I also double as a special effects makeup artist and photographer for our film needs.
Vision for the future: My goal is to allow Ravensbrood Productions to grow in the public’s eye into a successful and known company, with an accessible and entertaining social media presence. By being accessible and approachable, we will be able to communicate and participate in the community, and empower other creatives to follow their passions.

I am currently a law student at Delaware Law, and doing my part with Ravensbrood Productions to assist with any and all legal issues that may arise. These include, but are not limited to, overseeing contracts, non-disclosures, and waivers.
I also serve as a fellow creative, and contribute to scripting and storyboarding processes.
Vision for the future: I want to add another side to Ravensbrood which will be dedicated to criminological and law-based documentaries covering pressing issues in our society. After I pass the bar exam, I will be Ravensbrood's official legal advisor.

In the interest of transparency, we've included a budget breakdown so you can see just where our funds - your generous donations - are going. We have planned for almost every scenario, and have been as precise as possible. Again, $20,000 is a good chunk of money, but is a reasonable ask based on how long it will last, and necessary investments.
Equipment - By purchasing equipment, on top of what we already own between the three of us, we are creating a one-time cost, as opposed to renting equipment as a recurring cost.

Various Music Videos (shooting January - February 2019)
The Last Room of the Cave Adaptation (in production, shooting March 2019).
So far, this is our largest undertaking. The Last Room of the Cave, written by Tara A. Devlin, is a story that follows a young man, Johnny, as he confronts demons from his past while searching for a shred of hope. Throughout the story, much of his seedy past is revealed. Has he learned any life lessons?
Ravensbrood Productions, LLC, with enthusiastic consent from Ms. Devlin, has adapted this story for the screen, bringing to life bold characters, eerie settings, and feelings of unease. We hope to keep our audience on their toes with our first feature-length horror piece.

With every business venture, comes risks and challenges. We have already faced some of them, and are prepared to face more as time goes on.
One of the most obvious challenges at this point is not meeting our monetary goal. This is why we opted for flexible funding, which means we keep what we do make, should we not hit $20,000. In order to ensure we're doing all we can to prevent this, we have gotten many, many opinions on this campaign and our marketing strategy. During planning, we appreciated people taking their valuable time to read through and evaluate what was effective and what was not. Our aim is to have tailored this campaign to our demographic (movie-watchers, score-writers, up-and-coming bands, larger bands, and the filmmaking community), while also making it somewhat relevant to those outside of it.
Should we not hit our goal, we will continue to move forward regardless and seek other avenues of business funding. We will continue to work as we are now, putting our own money into the business, emphasizing networking, and producing projects. We gain nothing by sitting around waiting for things to happen.
We'll continue building our brand and reputation by producing more short films or music videos, posting them, and marketing them.
