It's December, and we know what you want: Winter themed seasonal cups! (and tax-deductions!)
Hello wonderful friends of all religions and creeds,
It's Random Access Theatre here, we know that a certain coffee giant has denied you the joy that is a festive holiday cup, and we are here to make things right. Help us make our non-denominational winter holiday dreams come true by helping to fund our upcoming season (with a tax-deductible donation no less) and we will send you a personalized, one of a kind holiday cup! We are VERY excited about the cool things coming up this year, but we really need a little help from our friends to make it all come together. So let's make some magic happen... Speaking of MAGIC:
Give Us Your Money - All That You've Got (please)
And we can make some awesome theatre MAGIC! In the coming season.
- Did you guys come to our first ever Drunk Restoration Comedy? Well we're going to be throwing that party ON THE REGULAR. At Random Access we think it's super cool when our artists and our audiences have THE BEST TIME EVER. Your gifts will go to getting our actors drunk and making their shenanigans even crazier.
- Did you see our amazing NYITA-nominated musical Pinwheel! this past spring? Well we've been adding MORE music, MORE dancing and EVEN MORE general awesomeness and hope to bring it back to life in the coming year. Your donation will make it possible to hire the larger cast we've all been dreaming of--remember, here at Random Access Theatre we LOVE to pay our artists for their incredible contributions!
- Did you hear about RAWR, our super awesome play development series? We choose three plays out of WELL OVER 100 SUBMISSIONS to read and develop with the playwright over a six month process because we love to give a platform to emerging artists and engage in conversation with our artists and audiences about what makes theatre SO GREAT. Your generous donations will help us pay for the space to host these events.
Let Us Show $t@rbuck$ How to Decorate Cups -with Snowmen, Christmas Trees, Menorahs, Kwanzaa Principles, and Festivus Poles, for the rest of us! (Or anything else you're into.)
Whether you're a theist or an athiest, we're inviting you to shift your attention away from the crass consumerism of the season toward the crass donation drives of the season!
- For the price of a fancy pair of holiday-themed socks you can show us that you love our art and make it possible for us to rent rehearsal and performance space, pay our artists, build sets and costumes, and light our shows!
- We've got a great track record turning pennies into remarkably stunning professional productions. Our programing has included period revivals (2012's Rope), daring devised work at the New Orleans Fringe (Tempting Air), adaptations of work from the 1920's (Pinwheel!, Anthem), brought new life to old classics (Taming of the Shrew, She Stoops to Conquer, Much Ado About Nothing), and supported the work of new local playwrights (RAWR). With your help we can create more outstandingly stunning productions from dollars!
- You know what we can do, you know that we do it well, now you can be a part of making it happen. (And get decorated holiday cups - BOOM. You're the luckiest!!!)
Seriously Though, We Make Great Theatre for Our Community, and We Need Your Help To Make More.
It's not easy being a little theatre company in the big city (as many of you know first-hand) BUT, it's also AWESOME because we can only do projects that we really love and believe in. That means that we rely on our passion and the passion of our supporters and collaborators to magic our art into existence. We truly are building the most amazing community of playwrights, designers, actors, dramaturgs, musicians and theatre-lovers around, and we need EACH AND EVERY ONE to show us your passion by donating to our sassy little campaign.
Other Ways You Can Help
Hey listen, maybe it's been a lean year and you're not expecting to find much under the Chanukah bush. You can still give US some holiday cheer, here's how!
And that's all there is to it.
