About Reel Love
Inspired by the classic movie theaters of cinema’s golden
age, Reel Love is a romantic comedy
short film that explores the difference between how love has been portrayed in
movies vs. how it works in real life.
Starting John Salandria as Michael, Bridgett Lynn Luevanos as Cindy and Dan Berg as Kevin,
Reel Love is written, directed and produced by Paolo Grassini and Carlton
Gillespie.
Synopsis
Michael, a hopeless romantic film projectionist, stumbles
upon a magical film projector that takes its audience into the movie. After discovering this, he runs off and cuts
together an epic film montage of all the most romantic scenes in cinema in
order to make the girl he’s been secretly in love with fall for him.
Be Part of the Team
We’re going to
recreate some of the most iconic romantic movie scenes, shot by shot. That’s where your contribution kicks in! With your contribution, we’ll be able to
complete our short film by recreating scenes from such films as When Harry Met
Sally, Titanic, Dirty Dancing, 500 Days of Summer and Casablanca.
In the spirit of collaboration, anyone who contributes to our short film will
have their name appear on the credits.
No matter the amount!
