Hello! We are a start-up from Finland and we have designed a simple travel product that really works. The Relax ALLY Travel Restband allows you to finally get cozy while traveling in a seated position!!

The Problem

Trying to sleep while traveling in a seated position can cause the head to nod off or "surf".  This leads to waking up abruptly, poor sleep, awkward situations and potential micro-trauma to the neck and shoulder muscles.

Relax ALLY  ...saves your trip!

Relax ALLY ® Restband™ fastens the head firmly to the seat and by doing so prevents the head from nodding off and thus sleep from being interrupted. Furthermore the ergonomic position helps to fall asleep and allows the muscles to relax. With Relax ALLY, you can save your neck and shoulders from soreness.

Usage

The Relax ALLY ® Restband™ is fast and easy to use:

Steps:

1. Fasten the Restband Srap to the seat. Adjust the Restband according to your head size and attach it to the strap.
2. Place the Restband over your head and adjust to the best position by moving your head inside the Restband.
3. Relax your muscles and let yourself to fall into a relaxed sleep.

Our Mission

We believe that travel time can be spent more relaxed when needed to. Our mission is to get this product available to the travelers around the world. To backpackers, businessmen & women and holiday lovers.

And while doing so, to take the responsibility and help you to do some good along the way. Traveling wont stop any time soon, but we can help to minimize the bad environmental effects, and jointly fight the carbon dioxide emissions related to travel (see community for details).

Perks

The company is based in Finland, and unfortunately at the moment it is against our Finnish law or at least in the grey area to raise money through crowdfunding without giving a clear product in return, so we are limited in perks that we can offer to you to support us, sorry for that! Therefore please only use the defined perks (You will receive a product in return).

History and crowdfunding

Relax ALLY ® Restband™ is a new Finnish innovation designed and developed by our team in collaboration with Aalto University Design Factory & Protomo labs.

We have been working with this project over a year. Countless prototypes and lessons have been learned. We believe we are now ready to take it to the market, but the biggest and the most expensive production and marketing steps are still ahead. This is were the raised money will be directed to.

The product has been presented to selected audience at TFWA World Exhibition and we have received 15 invitation for tenders from airline companies (some of the biggest Europeans included). In addition we are also showcasing our products in the MATKA2013 biggest EU Nordic Travel Fair in Helsinki on 17-20th of January.

Crowdfunding is a great vehicle for allowing us to start the Relax ALLY international sales, spreading the awareness and gaining the capital and publicity needed to make our Restband available to every traveler.

By supporting you will be the first to receive our production pieces and join the relaxed travelers community.

Shortly after this crowdfunding project is successfully funded we will be able to start selling globally through the website and (hopefully) in the retail stores, airplanes and more!
