ARE PEOPLE STILL DREAMING?
Do you know that you can dream big with God?
Do you know that He is the one who puts dreams in you?
A dream fulfilled is a blessing and an inspiration for many around us.
God has given us so many talents, dreams, visions that as the body of Christ we can use to change the World. Do you believe it? We do.
There is a whole generation that is daily bombarded by the difficulties and hard circumstances of life, that day by day take us to lose hope in our dreams, to put them on the side of our hearts and leave place to discouragement, fear and anxiety.
Many fight with hopelessness and low self-esteem .
We can’t stand still! It’s time to do something by showing to the world how good our Father is!
WE HAVE A DREAM
We really believe that this movie will inspire a new generation of God’s dreamers to get out of their comfort zone, believe in their purpose and being creative in changing the world by fulfilling their dreams.
Let’s ride the wave together!
![]()
Riding the wave is a documentary filmed in Los Angeles by Marco Ricci and a group of friends who decided to ride their motorbikes around the streets of LA to share the love of Jesus with people, explore the city, get to know the history of the communities there, bring hope to everyone and get inspired by the uniqueness of the city.

The other goal of the trip was to take part in the event Azusa Now* organised by The Call ministry**, led by Lou Engle, who invited Christians from all over the US to gather together in prayers and worship.
That day walls of division were broken down and Jesus was glorified above all.
*The Azusa Street Revival was a historical revival that took place in Los Angeles, led by William J. Seymour, an African American preacher who started the Pentecostal Movement in America. It was one of the first places where white Americans and African Americans gathered together to pray.
**For two decades, The Call ministry, has been organising big events where Christians gather to pray and fast for this nation and believe there will be signs and wonders, filling stadiums throughout the states.

Our goal for this movie is to inspire a new generation of believers to dream with God no matter what the circumstances are, because God really cares about our dreams and He is the best supporter in life that we can possibly ever have.
We want people to understand that whatever your ‘wave’ is, your call in life, your destiny, God is with you, so never give up!
No dream is too big and nothing is impossible!

In the beginning
The beginning of our journey was very basic. We had a big dream but we had no money and no experience.
‘’ It all started with a dream.
A dream to film a documentary while riding motorbikes around the streets of LA while blessing people and sharing God’s love to everyone we met.
I received a book ‘Filming God’ by Darren Wilson*, who personally sent it to me and on the first page he wrote down a word for me, telling me never to give up this dream since God would have made it possible.
Encouraged by this word I decided to begin this adventure, and while talking to my friend Jason over the phone he was very excited about this and told me we had to do it. We had to make it happen!
We started to organise and prepare everything without money and without experience, but we had faith.
We had faith to the very end, basically until the week before the event when we finally got all the money in ‘’.
Marco Ricci, Director.

Filmmaker Darren Wilson, director of Father of Lights, Finger of God and Furious Love.
The ride so far
That week was life changing.
We experienced so many things as a team that we felt like family once we were done.
We witnessed people having encounters with God’s love for them, we prayed over people to be healed in their bodies and we listened to their stories, we connected with them and we felt the most blessed for meeting them.
We really enjoyed seeing the city through God’s ‘lenses’.
We loved on everyone we met and we prayed for the city like if it was ours.

Once we were done filming our adventure, half of the team had to go back to Italy to finish the project since they are Italian.
We'd given up everything and faced many challenges to make this documentary.
We gave all of our time, jobs, money, and resources to work on the editing process.
We had an Italian premiere in Tuscany and a couple of other showings around Italy.

One day we received some horrible news, our friend Jason got into a terrible accident while driving his motorbike and ended up in a coma.
Praise God, he is not only out of the coma now, but he is doing very well, he is recovering fast and supernaturally.
A couple of months later though, there was another motorbike accident and unfortunately, Valentino, a friend of Marco's who was like a brother, passed away.
We were extremely shocked and didn’t know what to think or do, but we knew we couldn't stop, we had to keep going and kept sharing the movie.

Now, our goal is to finish the whole project and have an American premiere in Redding, California by November, so we can also reunite with the rest of the team and Jason and watch it all together with our incredible supporters.
We still have some production costs to cover and we want to officially start the distribution process in order for everyone to have access to Riding the wave and be inspired to pursue their purpose in life, to take risks and join us catching waves and riding bikes while sharing God’s love and hope for humanity.![]()
